Why Journalists Should Never Be Polite to People in Power.

,

Donald Trump likes lapdogs.

Any journalist who fawns over a politician and doesn’t challenge the one in power is not a journalist, but a stenographer.

And a menace to society.

Drooling over people in power just reinforces their malignant narcissism. MAGA propagandists turned an egomaniac into a psychotic narcissist.

Canadian journalists are doing the same with Mark Carney.

Never, ever be polite to a person in power: they then feel entitled to adoration as they buy their own hype instead of just doing the job they were voted to do. Then other narcissists become attracted to the paper crown and then the only people who run are insufferable and arrogant goobers.

Any country whose press is polite doesn’t have a press. You will notice those journalists never break a real story, uncover a scandal, or report on real danger.

They are mere propagandists.

Nor should government have any sort of business in the press. They should not fund them, have lists approving of them, or anything that reeks of treating reporters like livestock.

A bad press makes a bad society. Period.
