Let’s answer this silly question: What’s behind the growing backlash towards AI data centres?

Here is the answer: A mentally lazy, narcissistic, and AI illiterate vocal minority of sheeple who are too limited to know that rich rivals to AI are paying PR firms top dollar to spread propaganda.

And it is all for naught.

Data centres are an in-between solution, and China (cribbing from a Microsoft proposal) has shown the solution: put them in the bottom of the ocean, which is what AI companies should have done all along.

But the empty-headed peasants are cheering because a legacy CEO or two paid good cash money to tell them, “Cheer, stupid peasants so you can make us richer and we hold on to power.”

Again, all for naught.

There is no victory. Just a pile of cow manure dumped on one path, and as the technology progresses, simpler solutions will be found, and AI will continue to roll merrily along.
