Bari Weiss Pukes on 60 Minutes.

60 Minutes is nowhere near its prime, but when you throw incompetent goobers with paper crowns in charge, hilarity ensues.
Professional goober Bari Weiss knows nothing about journalism and it shows. Throwing in someone like Nick Bilton to be in charge of 60 Minutes is like hiring a rodeo clown to be the president of a university.
CBS Evening News is in a ratings free fall. Television still attracts the elderly who are not going to switch political stripes at this late stage of their lives. The geriatric righties are falling asleep to Fox News, and they are not going to look for another helmet-haired set of propagandists to tell them what to think. The end.
But the Ellison himbos think they can form a parasitic relationship with an established scaffolding and puke rancid content into it and they’ll benefit from it.
Yeah, not happening.
Rupert Murdoch tried that on a smaller scale as I outlined in OutFoxed, and it went over as well as you would expect: it was a flop. And that was it impetus to start a new news channel from scratch.
At this rate, I doubt CBS is going to survive as a network. Television is in a weak position, and the ratings health of news programs is essential for the legacy broadcasting media: a ratings-blessed morning news program ensures that people stay with the channel throughout the day, and a ratings-blessing evening news program ensures the audience stays for the prime time offerings.
And I seriously doubt CBS can keep alive with the Ellisons and Weiss at the helm.
