Who needs silly old ethics?

Silly partisan games? Hardly. If the Fiberals had nothing to hide, they would partake in them and prove they were in the clear.

Obviously, they have a lot to hide.

That’s why the regime bribed all those immoral floor-crossers: they had to shut those ethics hearings so that they wouldn’t be taken down by a scandal or thirty.

Of course, those pathologically complacent Canadians were never a threat. People had a meltdown over the Freedom Convoy. Waah! Those paunchy, middle-aged truckers are demanding their rights back! That’s not the Canadian way! What if the rest of the world doesn’t think we’re perfect? Waah!

Russia, China, and North Korea, on the other hand, can hack into those files and do some heavy blackmailing.

If they haven’t done so already.

And just because you think you’ve hidden something, you can usually reverse-engineer it. People like me can figure out the scam fairly quickly. I don’t need an investigation: I just need a few names and a few facts and I can reconstruct things with ease.

Which I have been doing. Utterly fascinating, stomach-churning dreck. Having the Liberals in charge is like being ruled by a STI. While the Syphilis Party would be a more apropos name, the Liberals never had any truth in their advertising.

Don’t get me started on any of the other party. They are all dreadful. It’s just the most corrupt gravitate toward the Grits.

When you see how technologically advanced some other countries are and how beautiful they are maintained, Canada should really take a good long look in the mirror. Asia and the Middle East are future-forward; that’s why Donald Trump is trying to destroy both so that the US would look better by default.

But that trick doesn’t work anymore.

Canada is like a faded old tea house: tired, relying on the same stale sandwiches, store-bought cookies, and a couple of brands of tea served on chipped thrift store cups and saucers on formica tables as you sit on wobbly, uncomfortable chairs. It’s the same people who come out of habit, not because there isn’t a better joint in town. They get offended when you point out they’re feeding you mediocre food: but it’s a tradition, they “know” the owners, and it’s a landmark, almost. They sponsored a local soccer team and everything!

When you are a slave to routine and think everything you do is superior, it should come as no surprise that the owners look down on you, over-charge you for the swill they are pushing, and even spit in your pot of tea.

That’s not acceptable, of course, but when you support the same grifters rather than admit you made a mistake at the ballot, don’t be surprised if you suffer the consequences of your own hubris, and no, denying it, doesn’t make it go away.

The Liberals should have been voted out. The Conservatives should have gotten a minority just to clean house and show the Grits they aren’t superhuman. In fact, every government should be a minority, with floor-crossing and proroguing forbidden.

There is no vision for this country and no plan for the future. Just one corrupt regime breaking laws and regulations as the country begins to erode around us.
