Canada has one problem: it’s governments are obsessed with making little people follow rules. It’s a government obsessed with predictability and crowd control.

So when a foreign entity comes in and proves those rules are not the way to go, damage happens, as in job losses due to a tariff war with that loser Donald Trump.

Rules are for people of low intelligence. Solutions require innovation as well as critical, lateral, and divergent thinking.

Donald Trump could have been cut off at the knees ages ago, but that would have required risk and courage to show just how many cards Canada has to play. The longer this game plays out, the more time Trump”s goons can make trouble, such as the very convenient rise of separatism in Alberta and Quebec.

Canada could have flipped the script ages ago, but it’s players in Ottawa don’t know how to do that.

And people are suffering because of it.
