Lots of things on the move, but I can talk about a few:
Finally, my article in Media Ethics came out. That’s a relief. I am not going back to magazine writing. I have done two more book reviews, but after that, I am done. It was fun, but as I said, I don’t want to go back to writing articles. When you have written books with publishers who let you be as obscure and eccentric as you want, you have already climbed the top of the writer’s mountain.
My encore book is done and sent to my publisher. That will be in the pipeline for a couple of months, but I am pleased with it. These were notes I had, and decided to codify them in a book form. It is a transitional book for me, so that’s why I wrote it. 21 books is plenty.
Kintsugi classes are white hot for me, and December is busy.
There are three other different streams of things going on right now:
- Dream of Arts: Things are moving too slow for my liking. I have to change things, and that will come in January.
- Over the last few months, I have been actively conducting method research on social media. Empirical guerilla nose-tweaking, as it were. More specifically, comparing and contrasting response of analytical thinkers and primal thinkers, before, during, and now after the US elections in Novemeber. Very telling feedback. Analytical people are going down fast. Primal thinkers are on the rise, but try as they might, they cannot overtake emotional thinkers. 2025 is the year for emotional thinkers to make it clear who is in charge — and no, it’s not the primal thinkers who are merely clearing the path and removing the analytical old guard. What is happening is simple: analytical people managed to psyche our primal people since 1945, but in 2020, that spell was broken. Primal people looked to emotional savants for perspective, promptly stole their work without thinking about core literacy or whether those emotional savants had their number beforehand and gave them primed information, but now analytical people are trying their old tricks and they no longer work, and primal people got just enough to push through and gain some legitimate power, which they will promptly screw up because they couldn’t have gotten it without the independent-minded emotional thinkers. 2025 will be a showcase of primal thinkers snatching defeat from the jaws of victory the way analytical people did in 2020.
- On a personal level, I have a lot of changes planned for me. Big changes, little changes. Some of the minor changes are already in progress. I promised a stream, and I hope to do a two-parter soon; so I will talk about myself and the state of the world then.
I really wanted to shed this blog, but that can’t happen just yet. That’s all for now.
