The Propaganda War Against Remote Workers is Trying to Make Workers into Dutiful Livestock.
In 2026, between Zoom and Perplexity, there is zero excuse for not making office obsolete. Offices are relics, but the C-Suite don’t want people to work from home.

Why?
Simple: they like treating other human beings like livestock. They can’t help themselve.
We have about human resources, not employee relations because to the C-Suite, you are not a person. You are a resource to be exploited and managed.
And considering that in 2020, people proved that they could work from home, that system should have stayed in place.
But then you cannot indoctrinate and wear down people. Get them out of their home turf into an unnatural and abnormal ecosystem, and gain control over them. It is harder to sexually harass employees via Zoom than it is in your office.
But employees capitulated with RTO orders, which was a huge mistake. Studies have shown time and again that the best and most productive employees are remote workers.
RTO is disrespectful: you have to shell out for transportation, insurance, and the like. When you work at home, you save more money than when you have to trudge to the office.
But with AI and Zoom, there really is no need for employees to stay with corporations: they can make their own and compete. You can literally run a company from the kitchen.
But people are being deliberately frighten with big, bad AI propaganda so that the idea never crosses their minds. This is how shaky corporations are trying to prevent competition in the first place.
Don’t believe them. You have all the tools for your freedom.
Start using them.
