A personal update.
As I move away from writing, I have a lot on my plate. I went back to blogging to get a feel for the state of the world, (tsk! tsk!) and to work out what I wanted from KlueIQ, and after several delays, I have managed to revamp both AK and KlueIQ.
I have been experimenting with interactive documentaries and dossiers here, and am very pleased with the results. I am still fine-tuning things, but I like the direction. I don’t want to bolt games on to AK: they need to have a purpose, and they do. I am having issues with a stream segment, but that’s not insurmountable. Once I get that tweaked, the next step is to combine them together. As AK has always been my laboratory, I have never had a paywall.
As I am undergoing some major changes on a personal front. Now that I know what direction both websites are going, I can focus on other things.
People ask me when I am putting out another book. The answer is that era of my life is over. It’s not as if I couldn’t write one or that I don’t have offers to have my work published. I can check off both those boxes. But that’s not where I want to go. That’s a bygone era. My writing her are not open notes for another book. It’s much bigger than that.
XOXO, Alexandra.
