You aren’t the leader of the future when you insist on living in the past

Companies and governments who insist on RTO are nothing more than relics.

In 2026, you have Zoom and Perplexity. You have Miro, Notion, Slack and Trello.

RTO is now used as a way to reduce the number of layoffs, but usually, the layoffs come anyway: drag people back only to show them out the door.

Or sexually harass them.

Remote work usually is more productive work: if you can’t make a business fly with remote workers, you’ll do worse with going back to the horse and buggy.

Those who thrive in the future will stick with remote work.

The rest will try to go back to a bygone era, only to find out why everyone left it in the first place.
