Suing the BBC is not going well for Donald Trump. They fight hard and dirty, and he is not used to it.

[H]is eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner now face subpoenas demanding documents and testimony about the events surrounding the January 6 Capitol riots. They are to be called by BBC lawyers after Trump sued the corporation for billions of dollars over an episode of Panorama detailing the January 6 riots.

The kicker is a knee-slapper:

The latest win for the BBC came on Friday, as US Magistrate Judge Enjoliqué Lett authorised the corporation to serve subpoenas on the three members of Trump’s family via alternative methods after attempts to deliver them in person were thwarted by their [Secret Service] security.

Using taxpayer money to try and circumvent the law is not a good look on Trump, his minions, or his children. The Secret Service is not there to shield you from having to testify.

With 22 days until the US-midterms, Trump’s options and rapidly narrowing, mostly because he messed up the economy for the middle and working classes and his once potent tricks are now making his problems worse. He is stepping in every cow flap in the field, and proving that he lost the 2020 election because of his own incompetence, not because anyone has to expend any brain power to sabotage him.
