Tariffs are taxes imposed on as country’s own citizens.

And right now, the Canadian federal government is raking in an extra $100 million dollars a week by shaking down their own citizens, just as Washington is shaking down Americans with extra taxes.

You are punishing your own people and taking their money with so-called “tariffs.”

In other words, Ottawa is fighting Donald Trump by emptying the wallets of every Canadian who cheer them on thinking that something is being done.

Yeah, making your government richer at the expense of making you poorer.

That is why the right answer wasn’t tit for tat tariffs. It was making sure the correct source of the problems had to be made to be accountable directly.

But when people don’t understand what a tariff is and appeals to jingo, you can’t expect another outcome.
