The Troubling Direction of the Federal Government in Canada.
Bill C-39 is a very dangerous bill.
Mark Carney’s regime are hell-bent on turning Canada into a dictatorship, using the excuse that they have a “mandate” to work on the economy.
Except the economy cannot be used as Trojan horse to removing rights and freedoms. If you are so incompetent that you cannot do your job without confining your own people, resign. You aren’t good enough.
Why restrict workers’ right to strike? Why not bump up the minimum wage, instead? Disposable income does wonders for the economy.
And controlling the Internet? What things are you trying to hide?
But Carney was priming Canadians to agree to make their lives a year ago.
Why? Economic prosperity does not require any sacrifices. Because if that was true, Carney wouldn’t be flying all over the world. Where’s his sacrifice?
It is hard to find a leader worse than Donald Trump, but there you go.
The federal government badly messed up trade talks with the US: cutting off electricity and potash and kicking out US-owned companies would have been enough to stop this childish trade war.
Counter tariffs? The only people who pay are Canadians.
And that is not acceptable.
Now, the government wants to confine workers and break them so they can be forced to work under worse conditions for less pay.
Because of some “mandate” to fix the economy. For who? Carney’s rich pals?
You psyche people up to push harder and expect more. That’s how the economy grows. Learning to take calculated risks, not retreating in squalor.
It’s a scam, of course. And one destined to not only fail, but to destroy the Liberal brand, and much sooner than you’d expect.
The last prime minister who played dictator was shown the door. This one, despite manufacturing a majority in the most undemocratic way possible, will be shown the door, too.
No matter how hard he tries to rig the board in his favor. He’s not as cunning as he fancies himself to be.
