Pete Hoekstra’s Big Hooey Spew Against Canada Continues.
What a goober.
Pete Hoekstra is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel here. 11 days until the US mid-terms, and this himbo knows that if the Republicans lose the House and the Senate, he has to face the wrath of President Peasant and most likely lose that cushy taxpayer-funded job.
It’s a demented piece of desperate propaganda: it recasts Canadian resistance to U.S. tariffs as a potential election-security issue. That interpretation follows from the document’s selection of examples and its sweeping closing demand; it is not proof of an undisclosed enforcement plan.
As in, there is not a shred of actual evidence here. It is just a temper tantrum from people who do not have actual thinking skills.
The question the embassy’s document leaves unanswered is the essential one: which specific conduct allegedly violated which rule, and what evidence establishes that violation? Repeating “FACT” before quotations about trade retaliation does not supply the missing argument.
This document is hooey trying to seem educated and decisive. It is neither.
