You would think adults would be working as journalists at the Globe and Mail.

People like to make themselves sound important and in the know with a scary story. It was the same with Y2K: once 2000 hit, computers were supposed to crash…except it never happened. Journalists ran with the same stupid narrative, and none of them tried once to experiment on their own computers and laptops by moving the date ahead and see what happens.

Nothing. The idea was ridiculous.

And it’s almost not worth dignifying with an answer. This isn’t news. This is gossip and rumor-spreading.

There are really more important and pressing things going on right now to indulge.
