If the White House thought Canada was getting all the perks, and the US were getting none, they forgot about their living nightmare Ontario Premier Doug Ford.

Ford pulled US alcohol off the shelves in Ontario, which was a massive blow to that industry. He threatened to cut off the electricity once before, but the federal government in Canada held him back, which was a massive blunder.

Hit early, hit hard, and don’t make empty threats.

Take away the lumber, the water, the nickel, the electricity, and the potash.

Canada should not have capitulated to the White House’s demands of getting a piece of revenue to the Gordie Howe Bridge: that just enabled the goons with the wife beater logic.

Doug Ford is in his element here. He does signage better than What’s-his-face. He knows where to kick and he knows how to kick hard. The US may have a bigger population, but a far smaller land mass and not a fraction of the natural resources Canada has.

Tit-for-tat tariffs are not as terrifying as losing electricity and having no fertilizer or batteries to function.

The only way to stop a bully is to out-bully him and not give in to a single demand. The louder Canada is and the more in-your-face, the bigger the losses come at mid-terms.

Canada can withstand it. It does not need to borrow money. It does not need to tax people. It does not need to demand sacrifice.

It needs to make an example of one tyrant and his air-headed parasitic goons.

It needs to slash taxes to stimulate the economy. Halve them. Do away with income tax. Make the money flow.

And then it needs to look for other trading partners.

If your citizens have money in their pockets, they will keep things rolling along.

Stop keeping Canadians at the edge to control them and socially engineer “social cohesion.”

Unleash them.

Do not cultivate fear or compliance. Cultivate fearlessness, innovation, independence, and optimism.

Then enemies on the outside will think twice of targeting the country. Bullies look for easy marks and actively avoid the feral who fight dirty.

You can be nice and polite, but a country unleashed is stronger, healthier, and happier than one you keep on the edge because that little paper crown means something to you.
