Yes, I am back.
And so is this blog.
The short story is Hostinger erroneously decided that my years-long payment method was fraudulent, and claimed someone provided “proof” of it, which I do not believe. I provided evidence to the contrary, but they kept moving the goalposts and provided no evidence of their claims. I had to file a police report, and that remains unresolved. The so-called “refund” never materialized, either. I found a better and cheaper alternative, and moved on. Hostinger is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, but it was a blessing in disguise; so good riddance.
But they did damage to me all the same. I was off-line for a couple of weeks, having to rebuild my site from scratch.
My blog posts vanished. Fortunately, I had my interactive documentaries saved, and I am now in the process of putting the more timeless ones back online, along with new ones. I rejigged a few features, while keeping the overall tone. It was needless and thankless time-wasting work, but now things are almost back to normal.
I am just about ready to release my Season 2 game called Sins of Omission: it is the biggest game I did to date. I was delayed several times, but it did allow me to organized klueiq.com better, and I am very happy with the end result.
I had a few setbacks. I have also had a few victories. I am still standing and providing a different kind of experience on both my websites, and will continue to evolve over the coming weeks.
As usual, stay tuned!
