Some consumers and journalists are upset. How do we reassure them that we remain committed to our values while also keeping our margins strong?<br>Sincerely,<br>Cautiously Optimistic in Corporate America<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>AI:<\/strong> Dear Cautiously Optimistic,<br>Great news: your values are fine. They are profit and plausible deniability. Both are performing strongly this quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">To reassure people, simply rotate through the following phrases: \u201csupporting our teams,\u201d \u201cchallenging macro environment,\u201d and \u201cdifficult decisions.\u201d If anyone asks why shareholders are resilient and workers aren\u2019t, say \u201ccomplex trade-offs\u201d and end the call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Warm regards,<br>PR Who Knows Exactly What You Did<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Alexandra: <\/strong>If all else fails, rebrand.
