They can hop VPNs, swap platforms, build private servers and whole underground ecosystems before a bill has finished working its way through committee. Politicians are notorious for being tech\u2011stupid; the same people who can\u2019t figure out how to send a group text think they can micromanage an entire generation\u2019s digital oxygen supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I once had a MP cancel a meeting with me because he got scared that my AI assistant automatically texted him about our next\u2011day meeting. He didn\u2019t cancel once, but twice. That\u2019s the level of fluency we\u2019re dealing with: they\u2019re terrified of basic automation, but they\u2019re certain they can outgame millions of teenagers who were raised on phones, algorithms, and side\u2011channel workarounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">People do not understand how pathetically tech\u2011illiterate politicians are. Tech\u2011literacy requires more than having super\u2011duper Pinterest skills or a high score on the latest Facebook game. That\u2019s not literacy. That\u2019s using a low, no\u2011brainer app while thinking the shiny interface makes you a wizard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">You can screw around with many things, but the narcissistic supply? The daily drip of likes, views, comments, and visibility that props up a fragile, algorithm\u2011trained sense of self?
