A stupid stratagey, if true.

The Hill Times has an oblivious article about how the federal Liberals in Canada are dealing with the bricks in their plants.

They have a story to tell the people? Give me a break. Every blowhard bores the world with a “story.”

The Grits are patriarchal. They rode on the coattails of a dead Pierre Trudeau by proxy. His selfish and egotistical son is no Pierre and he hogged the limelight with his boring selfies. He has too many no-name rookies who never gained narrative traction, and the three who did: Freeland, Moreau, and McKenna, did not do a good job. Wilson-Raybould and Philpott did and they were kicked to the curb.

Oh gee, what kind of dumbass story do you have there?

The Grits do not get that it is too late. They have disposable rookies who are expendable and have no story to tell. They have the Jive Turkey, no one else, and turned out to be a mean and incompetent downer in this narrative. Freeland comes off as his long-suffering minion. No pop, no story worth telling. Heaven help us all.

The story is what people take drugs to escape from. A dysfunction house of cards. The more the Grits try to spin this as victories, the more people will see it is the kind of bullshit they puke on their Facebook pages so other middle class people do not feel superior and pity them.

Trudeau was perceived as being charmed and lucky. His nepotism brought in a truckload of assumptions and he turned out to be even more bumbling than the average Joe. If he is that bad, then people do not want to give him a free pass because they are not going to give another chance to someone who is just like them.

While it is too soon to call an election, I seriously doubt we will see the Grits win this one. They are just too gross. They need a serious overhaul and if they keep insist on having “stories”, they need someone who can follow a script in public and not go parading in culturally offensive garb out in the global stage as he abuses his cabinet ministers when they try to do the legal and right thing…

New York Times spews garbage and is not the feminist paper of record: How journalism failed women and still do in 2019.

The New York Times is pure garbage, and this bullshit article can be classified under Too Little, Too Late, Assholes.

Why do we have psychopaths get elected? We absolutely know these hypocrites lie to the public, have affairs, take bribes, and do all of the things that they proclaim they find morally reprehensible.

I know this because I worked as a journalist and hung around the halls of various public offices and saw the floozies get passed around various politicians who then gave them patronage appointments — and journalists saw this up close every day and said nothing.

Journalists also play those games as the Times’s own Ali Watkins did…and faced no consequences for it.

So to all of you women who are upset about the oppressive and illegal anti-abortion laws, here is the memo:

Journalists could have exposed these con artists before they ever got elected. They could have told you about their mistresses, lies, hypocrisy, and every other immoral, illegal, and shady thing they do out in the open. They could snap pictures of their drug use, casting couch antics, and everything else, but they keep quiet.

In other words, it is the sin of omission.

So let us not pretend the press is a friend to women. It never was, and it never will be.

They could also expose the lies and cons of far Right activists by exposing their affairs and how they snag their man by getting knocked up before marriage. They could expose these charlatans with ease.

So if you want to know how to break the iron grip of a lunatic fringe, start by demanding that newspapers such as the Times reveal all the dirty little secrets they are keeping from the public.

It will sicken you. It will shock and appal you — but by now, it should never surprise you…

Globe and Mail's propaganda about the Ontario Premier's propaganda: It's all propaganda, all of the time.

The Globe and Mail is babbling propaganda against the Ontario Premier’s propaganda.

Ontario News Now would never have been a thing if journalism in Ontario had an ounce of competency.

When you look down on people and craft narratives to make your side seem superior, you will alienate those people who will look elsewhere.

And the Globe is not one to talk. People don’t refer to it as the Toronto Globe and Mail for no reason: it serves as Toronto-centric propaganda as the rest of the country are seen as lesser beings.

But the Ford Brothers had their own radio program on Newstalk 1010. They were given unfettered access to mainstream news outlets. When politicians are given those kind of platforms, don’t be surprised when they cut their teeth and then bypass the system the way millions of other people did with social media.

And people are not going to see any problem with it because this is the Age of Propaganda.

When you have news outlets blur lines, they shouldn’t get huffy when people they enabled take full advantage of it.

They sized up the sham of the press, and then build their own in the bargain…

Globe and Mail babbles about recycling...misses glaring point. Recycling is a Middle Class distraction. Just go to the commercial dump.

As our ditzy Prime Minister is desperately trying to deflect attention from his own himbosity by offering the super-rich Vatican Canadian lumber and steel that would be better used to build our destitute shelters, he also wants to play propagandist to scare the Middle Class into voting for him by declaring a “climate emergency.”

This is pure bullshit. If there was such a thing, there are many simple solutions that could have been employed, but haven’t because Canada is a lawless country that runs on the politics of fear and virtue-signalling.

But instead of exposing the manipulations, the dregs left of Canadian journalism prefer to be government mouthpieces.

Look at the babble-fest of the Globe and Mail that offer a very long and rambling bullshit story.

It is all about the problems facing recycling because China decided not to play make pretend anymore.

Recycling, for the most part, is a sham. It always has been. This is how governments play kindergarten teacher to the middle class to get them to, in essence, reenact doing something stupid while spinning it as productive as pasting macaroni on to cardboard and then calling wasting food an art lesson.

Recycling is pasting macaroni on cardboard.

While the obedient and credulous Middle Class spend hours separating garbage and then morally masturbating to their fake friends about it, businesses throw all of their trash in one big heap at the commercial dump.

I know because I have had to throw out a lot things, rented a big truck, and was told that I had to discard it at the commercial end of the dump.

And then saw the building with all the garbage just stacked in a single pile with no recycling equivalent there. I had a lot of glass that could have been easily recycled, but was told to throw all of it in that huge pile.

Think about how much garbage businesses throw out in comparison to the residential, and then tell me about recycling.

And nowhere in this incessant rambling and irrelevant fact-puking does the Globe look at the obvious. The entire article is rubbish because of their glaring confirmation bias.

It is not the only place where they seriously fuck up. Even the usually oblivious CBC gets that Canada allows too much superfluous and non-biodegradable packaging to clog up our dumps. All the government has to do is make excessive plastic and packaging illegal. If the Liberal government actually believed in the line they are feeding people, they would have already done so.

Because the environmental monster tales are just for show.

We have garbage because we don’t actually have a government that puts a stop to it.

The Globe thinks cramming charts and graphs means they are serious journalists. No, you don’t question your government on basic things, so why would you think that?

If two magicians see the obvious, then let’s let magicians inform the public — not the pretentious morons at the Globe and Mail who are too stupid to see that the federal Grits gave millions of dollars to a price-fixing grocery chain that gets free swag — and the epicentre of the kinds of environmental waste that clogs our dumps in the first place…

We have no journalists...only propagandists pretending to be journalists. And a global humbling is fast approaching...

Remember when journalists were lying to you and told you how WikiLeaks were Russian agents?

If you have forgotten because you have Middle Class Selective Amnesia Syndrome, I have taken the liberty of giving you screenshots of the liars and what they puked in 2016.

And now all of a sudden, when journalists thought they could ride on Julian Assange’s coattails and lie once again how they are just like him, and how great WikiLeaks is, they are trying any and all propaganda to save their worthless selves because their incestuous narcissistic award-giving to themselves isn’t doing a thing, either.

Too late. Your word is garbage and so are you. You are now desperately trying to spin the Mueller report, flat-out making up stuff as you spin and distort, but you are nothing but propagandists for lazy Democrats who have absolutely no platform or plan to have one and are using that report as a misdirection so people do not see how they just want money and power by being leeches on the taxpayer’s dime as they try to convince those same taxpayers that they would be destitute without their meddling. They are grifters and scam artists who are threatening women with rape and forced baby-producing by proxy via the brutish Right if they don’t behave and vote for them.

Here is an idea: I don’t vote for either of you losers. You’re all scum. Don’t you dare threaten me with war propaganda.

Journalism keeps getting more shrill and pathetic, but I guess the stench of a rotten corpse is rancid to begin with. The martyrdom narrative is pure bullshit. They are still losing their jobs in droves. For a reason. When you lie, you don’t deserve to be employed. Fuck you.

We are risking our lives for you narrative is bullshit. Memo to journalists: reporting on Mortal Kombat 11 isn’t actually dangerous.

Trump was exonerated, and we still have people who see it and are exasperated by the press having a vendetta that is pathological and out of control, but I agree with Noam Chomsky of what is going to happen.

But I will take it further. The Left’s temper tantrums and hubris is costing them election after election. The Right surge is happening precisely because the Left are trying to shame the world into believing their opinions to be reality, and they are not. Limousine liberals don’t know reality; so their bullshit looks ridiculous and so far off the mark that they end up looking like nerds and loons. The Right’s opinions are not reality, either, but people want to stick it to the Left for their insistence on being at the top of their pecking order to humble them.

So what you have is two groups of people trying to impose their will to rig things so they always win.

You also have Big Tech who is trying to play Big Brother with their fascist censorship garbage, known as GIFCT. However, this is not a sign of their gaining power, but that they are rapidly losing clout. The Internet is a shadow of its former self.

I am now finessing my books, but that is not focus-intensive. The research takes much more than the actual writing, but the resources online are not one tenth they were when I wrote my last book When Journalism was a Thing in 2017and that was not one hundredth of what it was when I was writing Don’t Believe It!: How lies become news and OutFoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s war on journalism…back in 2004.

That is breath-taking. Here you have all of these little propaganda mills begging for donations, and they have shit to offer. They are erasing their archives of old articles, and even library databases are a shadow of their former selves. That is not evolving, but regressing.

Wired thinks the censorship leaning of Big Tech should scare us, but I don’t agree. Big Tech is FUBAR. The Internet is a warehouse of garbage. Traditional journalism is fucked, too. What no one else has the courage to admit is that we now have conditioned people to think their beliefs are divine truth and reality. They no longer seek any information at all because they think they have all the answers with their uninformed folksy bullshit. When you have people try to indoctrinate you by thinking an unverified meme poster proves that they are right over the person with front line experience, expertise and exhaustive research, you know it is game over. Big Tech pandered to the point of shooting themselves in the foot. They are outsmarting themselves into oblivion.

GIFCT is a desperate push to salvage the Left, and it will not work. The Left are getting crushed on all sides and deservedly so. You cannot bribe people into supporting you because it is never enough and they always want more. Kathleen Wynne found that out the hard way. Doug Ford is shrewdly taking away the Ontario Left’s three veins: he slashed municipal seats so the cheap way of NDP and Liberal candidates to get media attention and incubate a voter base has been hobbled. He is setting the bar to sue the Ontario government so high so that he is now cutting off the narrative publicity and propaganda vein of misusing the courts to shame the government. Teachers and activists used this gambit too many times because they know they give the press an easy story where they can look sad in front of the camera and whine no matter how much money gets thrown at them. He takes this vein out, and they lose a “newsworthy” stunt to moral-shame the Tories. He is drastically slashing the public sector, and healthcare and education — the two collectives who still have good jobs and a strong union to throw tantrums and get away with it, are going to be broken. I will not be surprised if education doesn’t get privatized in some significant way so that teachers no longer pose a threat.

But that’s not the Right’s doing. That’s the Left always using the same gambits thinking the other side won’t notice and crack the code. Worse, if your prosperity hinges on working in the public sector where you think you have no risks and complete security, your world will collapse because you got cocky and slagged people who are being paid less and have to toil more, and they will remember your snooty attitude and get their revenge on you at the ballot. No amount of shaming and tantrums is going to save you when it’s personal.

Journalists cannot be trusted with seeing reality because they have the same blinders. They have been indoctrinated and march lockstep brainlessly not seeing that the side they picked are not actual thinkers with a moral compass. They are short-sighted and socialism is not going to save them because you need money to burn through and when you have leeches who just take and refuse to give, the black hole will swallow you up. Trying to brainwash people through shaming, narrative, or censorship isn’t going to work because all of these leftist governments are getting kicked out in droves, too, meaning it has the opposite effect.

Politico has always been propaganda garbage and sophistry, for instance. They puke propaganda, and the jealous sots are trying to smear the Intercept — which actually has factual value in a pathetic attempt to destroy anything that goes against their narrative. They should call this trash can Pollutico.

Here is a memo to you losers: the “Democratic civil war” as you misnamed it, isn’t fuelled by the Intercept but by a bunch of spoiled and manipulative rich psychopaths who want to control people and use a ruse of morality to do it, but since they have no clue what is moral, they have to fake it, and then the low-class antics get exposed.

Speaking of garbage that has been spawned from Pollutico, Julia Angwin’s pathetic attempt at starting a propaganda machine called the Markup resulted in her getting turfed before it even debuted. She got canned because her bullshit ideas on “data journalism" about technology — snake oil for the modern ages, kids — was nixed for flat-out propaganda and lobbying disguised as “advocacy.”

When you have rich liberal meddlers give you $23 million dollars, they want propaganda that pushes their interests. Not news. This was to be liberal propaganda to try to control Big Tech, nothing more. “Advocacy” is doublespeak for “partisan propagandistic lobbying”, nothing more. The Left have been co-opted by hucksters with raging egos whose con games all hinge on feeding those cancerous egos as they shame people into doing stupid things that will bleed them dry. This entire episode is a sad joke as the little parasites have jumped shipped. This is why journalism got destroyed, and then you have clueless egomaniacs such as Andrew Yang try to suck up to journalists saying he wants to save a dead profession so they’ll keep writing about him. Sure, right, likely story. Warren Buffet sees newspapers as toast? Dude, that ship has sailed years ago. The ashes have already been blown away.

But the propaganda is all over the place. We have the Canadian Liberal regime planning to use propaganda to suggest that white supremacists — who all conveniently come from Alberta, are going to pose a threat to the jittery middle class…so the natural conclusion is to keep voting for the rancid Grits. Nice try, but when Hillary Clinton tried that with her smart-ass deplorables comment, it cost the idiot the presidency. No wonder other Western nations think Canada is bonkers with their shrill and dire fake warnings.

But the Left are getting pummelled with their games. Doug Ford has realized where they are getting their money and is cutting them off at the knees. The Ontario Liberals figured out the best way to hide how weak the province was finding itself in was to give just enough money to the borderline poor to think they were Middle Class and just enough graft to the upper end Middle Class to think that they were rich. Have a nice and fat public sector making well over a six figure salary doing bullshit and give in to their demands with some fake resistance to make them feel big and powerful. Doug Ford didn’t get a single one of their votes, and then just pulled the rug out from under them. He is actually showing just how weak and precarious they were all along.

He has nothing to worry about. You can’t bribe people using other people’s money — they will always scream for more, while the people you are using to fund your racket will not tolerate it. It’s what destroyed the former Yugoslavia and every other socialist and communist regime. The Left have painted themselves in a corner because they keep going to extremist ideologies trying to be completely different than the Right, backstabbing innocent people when they cannot control and exploit them — and then trying to claim the people they betrayed as one of their own when things spiral out of control.

I am certain poor Julian Assange had no idea how badly he’d be used, exploited, betrayed, maligned, and vilified. Journalists treated him like the devil as they broke him before trying to exploit that same broken man as their puppet by now pretending they think he is a saint. Too late, assholes, you already locked in your answers in 2016.

He was hopelessly naive, however. He honestly believed that if he told the middle class how they were being manipulated, they would rise up as they became enlightened. He had no idea it is the middle class who set these rigs up, exploiting both the rich and the poor so they don’t have to do any of the dirty work themselves or actual have to take a risk and then look foolish if they were gasp! wrong or failed. Then they can pretend they are smarter, wiser, and more moral and interesting than anyone else as they pretend they are keeping their hands clean. Assange rubbed their noses in their reality, and they turned on him for rocking the boat. He had no clue and no chance.

If he wanted to change the world, he should have filmed middle class people feeding their kids for free with shitty Costco food samples and then bragging about the smartphone they bought on their Facebook pages, and then called them nerds. That would have started a motherfucking revolution.

Big Tech pandered to that same class telling them how rich and famous they’d become, and then everything exploded and got out of control, and now they are trying to put the demon back into Hell. No dice, let alone a paradise.

Big changes are coming, and for the Left, the shocks are just beginning. They are decaying faster than they should be decaying, and that always hints at some internal crisis because someone who did all the work and thinking for them either left or was underestimated and kicked to the curb or died.

And the middle class are quietly hedging their bets on the Right, while the National Post’s solution is to drug everyone with microdoses of LSD so that people are too stoned to care about the world collapsing around them (memo to you losers: emotional apathy is not a good thing to have: it means you have no sensitivity to your surroundings. It is a coward’s lazy escape).

I see the games of the sucker circus, and I still chronicle them. I am not naive like Assange, however. I register my observations, but I have my own reasons for it that have nothing to do with changing the world for others or doing their thinking for them. I’m not your mother.

By the way, remember when journalism had the courage to admit their faults and not puke bullshit about how great they are?

No?

But that was when journalism still was a thing…

Fourteen years ago today, OutFoxed: Rupert Murdoch's war on journalism was published.

Disinfo is no longer in business, but the book is still around.

of.jpg

As I am still toiling away, I would like to take a breather and point out some of the fuckery going on in the press.

Like this bullshit piece from Quartz:

A new Twitter account is outing shoddy reporting in science stories

You misogynistic motherfuckers, some white guy starts a Twitter feed, and you give him free publicity about showing shoddy reportage about science?

I wrote two books chronicling the same thing and showing how to spot it, and I did not get a mention.

Don’t Believe It!: How lies become news was published in March 2005 and I had an entire chapter on this problem.

When Journalism was a Thing also extensively went into this problem last year, and you ignored it.

The man posts five seconds on Twitter, and you drool and slobber all over his ass as if he did something original. Go fuck yourselves.

And speaking of fuckery, boy, someone with big boy pants must have taken over the propaganda arm of the federal Liberals.

The National Post are being dutiful little minions and are doing free propaganda for them:

'Inconsistent with democratic values': Internal conflict flared over Jody Wilson-Raybould's controversial last act as justice minister

An internal memo claims Crown lawyers were being overruled and told not to use certain defences to appear less adversarial toward Indigenous plaintiffs

Really? JWR was your pick, assholes. That was the culture of control you cultivated. She was well within the brand of political reasoning — and you wait until your little SNC-Lavalin scandal got this far away from you to try to take swipes at her?

You losers do realize the more you slag her, the worse you sound, right? You either mistreated her, which speaks poorly of your prime minister, or you picked and propped up a lemon for years, which speaks even more poorly of you. If you had class — which, by the way, you don’t — you would be better off copping to the former rather than the latter.

Do you idiots realize this has now gotten way, way bigger than two ousted female MPs? You are all going to get hit with a bigger scandal or three before October, and it won’t matter. It doesn’t even matter now. You all sound like vindictive spouses going through a divorce and come off as petty shits. Get a crisis management team and get over yourselves.

And as for the National Propaganda — stop being stenographers for the Man. No wonder you guys bleed money.

But it goes beyond the childish and psychopathically abusive nose-tweaking. The Grits are desperate and reek badly of it with their vast conspiracy theories of political interference being floated as a possible bogeyman for them to frighten the little people into voting for them.

Dumbasses, here is the memo: all countries meddle in the affairs of other countries. That is why Julian Assange had to be silenced by bribing the regime who gave him refuge with loans — who knows what drugs were given to the guy during his exile to discredit him, but WikiLeaks released information that showed the the “political interference” happened everywhere all the time, and the Left sound like Loopy Lous trying to make it sound as if meddling happened only with Trump, and we have people in the Liberal Party sound like paranoid potheads warning that other countries will meddle in our election.

Yeah, the way you stick your pointy little noses in theirs. Fuck you. For a group of blowhards who preach about globalization, why would this even bother you? Globalization precisely means the right to meddle in other countries’ affairs. That’s like wanting to fuck everybody and still be a virgin. Morons.

One last observation: Peter Mackay’s column in the Toronto Sun seems to have a very sly, but nasty jab to Justin Trudeau:

No one is fooled by the crafted image, stage-managed appearances, bold bromides, soaring rhetoric and flashy wardrobe; the stuff of an Old Spice commercial spoofing itself for effect.

The Old Spice reference doesn’t fit — unless you recall that Matthew Perry’s stepdad was the Old Spice guy in commercials…and that Perry boasted in public how he used to beat up Trudeau in school when they were kids.

Trudeau could never compete with Perry in the acting sphere, so go show up the guy in politics where you are completely unqualified. Take that, Matthew Perry!

That’s all for now. I am averaging a chapter a day, and I am picking up speed. Propaganda-busting gets my juices flowing. I could never stand liars because they are arrogant cowards to the core.

Ciao!

xoxo.

Investing in Al Capone's Vault: Betting against Trump does have its price.

Banking on Robert Mueller unearthing dirt on Donald Trump was the way many talentless hacks got a lot of attention. They leeched off the president’s abrasiveness, hoping a bad disposition would automatically mean that he is a villain.

gardner-feature.jpg

Guy Gardner is still one of my favourite superheroes, even if in his heyday he was a sexist jerk who really liked Ronald Reagan and earned the punch in the face Batman gave him..

Adulting would be a very good idea right about now, and people creating jobs for themselves based on something other than dining on hoping someone would get caught.

It is the reason why progress is so slow: everything becomes a slap fight, and people become bullies. I never cared for the brutes of the Fox News Channel, but MSNBC and CNN are no better.

And it is a crying shame…

Russiagate did not destroy journalism. It was destroyed before then. What it did was show that partisan propaganda ain't what it used to be.

This was an interesting take on Russiagate:

It's official: Russiagate is this generation's WMD

The Iraq war faceplant damaged the reputation of the press. Russiagate just destroyed it

No, journalism was destroyed before that. Trump won the 2106 presidential election even though the press all marched lockstep against him.

He had Twitter, and he won.

And then social media and Big Tech became censors of the worst sort, but now that Robert Mueller, after months and months of having free rein to investigate — and he is a very, very good and thorough professional — found nothing.

The press and Big Tech rigged and stacked and manipulated to extremist and disturbing degrees.

And nothing.

giphy (1).gif

This was the industry’s last stand.

And they incited a populace and could not make an outcome happen.

They desperately wanted Trump to be led away in handcuffs as they cheered, and said, See! See! We were right! We are the heroes!

Why was this so important to the press?

Because they cannot come to grips that they collapsed.

It had to be the Evil Russians who rigged and stuffed ballots, not that they could not tell the little people how to vote and they would dutifully listen to them.

Hubris blinds the profession who refuses to admit it’s fubar.

I wrote about journalism’s collapse for Zer0 Books in 2018 in a book called When Journalism was a Thing.

Despite the publicity I should have gotten — and my publisher was supportive of my book and pushed it, knowing that I had ovarian cancer and was seriously out of commission, but did everything a good publisher should do without skipping a beat — managed to get me two interviews, and I managed to procure one on my own.

I was shut out.

I was ignored. Blacklisted.

All for speaking the truth and reality of the situation.

latestbbok.jpg

With 61 pages of references.

But all but two journalists were in denial. To those who interviewed me, and gave me a platform to express myself, thank you.

The rest are absolute hypocrites. They wrote about every bout of presidential flatulence, but when it came to examining and exposing their own shortcomings, they conveniently ignored me.

And now they can’t touch Trump.

But I am not going to stop. I have a laser-beam focus and a nuclear-level energy to keep going.

I have spent my entire adult life working on an alternative system, and I had to put up my proposal on Amazon in Kindle format — something no author should ever be forced to do — so if it comes to intellectual theft, I have a lattice of proof, and it was made clear to me that it was going to happen via email.

If journalists were all about truth and informing, they would have not just read the book — they would not run and hide from me like a bunch of conniving cowards — they would take my words to heart.

But they aren’t. They want to strut and vogue in superhero capes and mask pretending to save humanity.

No, you’re not. A big, fat super story you were all banking on to save you just went up in smoke.

You’re all Zero Risk, and your big, fat gamble just wiped you out.

8En6.gif

And not only am I still standing, teaching, and writing books, motherfuckers, I am still an ambitious visionary who is merrily living my life to the fullest as I never bank or leech on anyone’s demise to fill my belly or validate my existence…

11518666_bodyshot_300x400-879.gif

Ideological propaganda thrives in a confirmation bias...

I always find it interesting how partisan propagandists use a confirmation bias to argue bullshit.

Like this piece of manipulative dreck from Boing Boing:

One company bought all the retail outlets for glasses, used that to force sales of all the eyewear companies and jacked up prices by as much as 1000%

Yes, companies have been doing that for decades in the US. A responsible outlet would note that, but then the propaganda faucet gets turned on:

This is a good example of how decades of far-right ideologically driven antitrust malpractice has hurt everyone. After all, glasses aren't just a fashion item: they're a necessity for people with poor vision, a prerequisite for driving, walking, cycling, reading, getting an education or doing your job.

No, that is not an example — good or bad — of “far-right ideologically-driven” anything.

Because you had left-winged presidents in there for a total of what — sixteen years since Ronald Reagan?

Neither one of those presidents bothered with countering that “far-right ideologically-driven” problem. They left it alone.

Motherfucker, that is simply how that country rolls, whether it rolls to the right or left.

So that’s on all of you.

You are not better than your “far-right” fellow citizens. That narrative you are puking is a pure bullshit story.

Stop gaslighting people as you are trying to throw half your country under a bus, blaming them for everything as you take responsibility for nothing. It doesn’t matter who is elected president on the left or right.

The rich stay rich.

The poor stay poor.

And the middle class stay oblivious as they look to blame everyone else except themselves…

Federal Liberals banking on old patriarchal ruses: Put up or shut up? Nice try, but on a rigged board, go for another option.

When you have bootlickers and minions, you think you are always in the right and when you have a board rigged to reward your noncompoopity, your perceptions of reality can get in your way when some who does not fall for the rules and script decides to play a different game with you.

So here were have another Liberal MP, Judy Sgro, try a very transparent strategy based on the sink or swim logical fallacy: She is telling renegades Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott to “put up or shut up” by going on a booby-trapped rigged board of Parliament to divulge everything they know.

This is a equivalent of murder mysteries where someone is given an anonymous note and told to meet the killer at a certain spot without telling anyone of the meeting — and to bring or destroy the note. Duh.

They should not actually fall for this ruse for many reasons, mostly because the other Grits would have already formed a counter-plan and are ready to undermine them through optics and other political strategies because they know the rigs and the rules and have more political experience than either of the first-terms MPs.

And they should call it out as a poor-man’s ruse, and decline it. It is a set up, nothing more.

And Sgro’s pathetic and misogynistic narrative how this is somehow some sort of personal vendetta against the Jive Turkey is laughable. Do try not to waste taxpayers’ money being so primitive, Ms. Sgro.

The Grits are dysfunctional and are turning on each other, trying every old trick in the book to salvage their operations. And you know how bad it is when they have to drag the old guard out and try to clean up the mess. Maclean’s magazine misreads the signs, however:

Enlisting the longtime Liberal party loyalist as a ‘change-maker’ offers yet another example of a government losing its optics mojo

They never had the mojo: what they had was a press primed to follow the old scripts for them. They thought the Prime Minister would be an ally to them, forgetting that during his most impressionable age, both of his parents were torn to shreds in the press for different reasons. He played them, plain and simple, because they were playing him. He set up the narrative of equality for all races and genders, and then when it came to practicing what he preached, he choked while the press dutifully followed the script, and everything became misaligned.

He was never that clever. Neither was Gerald Butts. Everyone was merely following the script until two female MPs went against its structure. And then people’s true intellectual shrewdness was exposed. Nothing more.

The Grits are in trouble. They know it. If the opposition parties were in better shape, they would be wiped off the map on election day.

But it can still happen. All bets are off, except that the old narratives are backfiring, causing nuclear light shows in their wake…

Federal Liberals try to stop the bleed, but this is an opponent who does not play by their rules.

The federal Liberal regime will us the budget tomorrow to bribe Canadian media into silence, which is silly because journalism here collapsed.

Because had it been strong, the Grits would have been in much bigger trouble with more resignations. Don’t kid yourself.

They will be bribing Millennials who always want more; so that will misfire.

Besides, the bribing comes too far away to make any impact. Kathleen Wynne tried that gambit and lost power.

They are trying to prevent Google from exposing their corruption. They have lawyered up.

Michael Wernick fell on his sword.

And the Grits are shutting down any inquiry.

Normally, this heavy clean-up detail would be enough to satisfy the cowardly sheeple into forgetting all the bad things, but this isn’t a normal or domestic assault.

This game is something beyond the Liberals’ ability to contain.

Because things have been getting progressively worse. It began with minor insults and now it is about corruption.

This isn’t a domestic attack because neither the Tories nor the NDP would have chosen the man-child leaders that they did had they had the capability.

And neither do the Grits. That they lost Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott isn’t strategically devastating in that they are both rookie MPs. The loss of Gerald Butts is a little more distressing, but he isn’t a genuine brilliant strategist: he is a hanger-on who knows the trick of latching on to someone in power and then failing upward. This can be embarrassing and a blow to morale, but it isn’t fatal.

What is more troublesome is Wernick’s departure. He has been in the game for almost four decades, regardless of regime. That he couldn’t handle it tells you just how serious this game happens to be.

You lose too many promoted pawns and you are set further back. People get jittery and they aren’t going to stick their necks out for you. The Grits have suffered far bigger losses than what their trying to do will repair.

And this game is far from over. No one is going to keep going after you and then just let go after they seriously weakened you. There are too many skeletons in this regime’s closet because they saw how weak the domestic opposition was and how fawning the press were and thought they could do anything with impunity and considering how many rookies are in this regime, you can imagine all the frat house antics that have been going on.

Except someone else has been keeping score and is slowing dripping problems one by one until there is enough to cause a flood. People are being primed and conditioned to go against the previous narrative about the Prime Minister, and so far, it is working perfectly. His credibility has been seriously damaged, and one or two more strategic airings of reality can make him seem as honest as Olivia Jade…

Gaslighting -- Prime Minister Style. Why Justin Trudeau's comments just made a radioactive situation nuclear.

Gerald Butts and Justin Trudeau are using the same sexist explanation to try to salvage a situation.

What the feint is happens to be gaslighting.

I am not going to link to any reference except for one, but place this observation here on its own.

Jody Wilson-Raybould is a lawyer by trade. She did not get her position out of a Cracker Jack box. She has experience, and I would like to point out this passage about her:

Jody Wilson-Raybould has a way of making an impression. Oddly enough, for a politician, she often makes it in private. There was the day in 2011, back when Wilson-Raybould was heading the B.C. Assembly of First Nations, that she ran into former prime minister Paul Martin. He later said she treated him to a “brilliant exposition” on First Nations issues, which led to Martin talking her up in his Liberal circles.

Smart woman who has an ability to effectively communicate.

So the argument that she repeatedly misunderstood the multiple requests for her to cave in to corporate interests is pure bullshit. The end.

The argument drops dead from her end.

Now, is the Prime Minister and his manservant general Butts implying that all eleven people who repeatedly went to her lockstep with the same request were poor communicators?

Eleven people whose very job is to be effectively communicate?

Didn’t the Prime Minister win his job by communicating during the campaign?

Doesn’t he give speeches? Does he debate in the House of Commons?

Did he not communicate in his memoir Common Ground?

Aren’t every single one of the Trudeau 11 educated complete with one or more universities degrees?

And the problem is some sort of miscommunication, spanning months?

Who the fucking hell is stupid enough to buy that bullshit story?

The world leaders in the remaining 194 countries must be laughing their asses off…

Memo to the Toronto Star: It is not "He said, She Said": It is He says, She is not allowed to say because He won't let Her."

The Toronto Star pukes more false statements than the foreign man they are obsessed with chronicling.

They are being willfully dishonest.

The SNC-Lavalin scandal is not He Said, She Said.

How could it be when the She is not allowed freely speak or present evidence.

Skipper Justin Trudeau just gaslighted Jody Wilson-Raybould they way his little buddy Gilligan Gerald Butts did yesterday with no facts to back up his claims that “conversations were experienced differently.”

That is bullshit.

And the “He Said She Said” narrative is an out-and-out propagandistic lie.

Had Wilson-Raybould been allowed to say everything and present everything, then it would be more accurate, but that’s not what happened.

Meaning that either those who work for the Star are so stupid as to not know what that phrase means, or they are just flat-out grifters and cons looking to appease their master.

There is no third option.

Screen Shot 2019-03-07 at 2.52.19 PM.png

But there is a lot of people in a position to know who have plenty to say

Federal Liberal Bullshit narrative continues: Gaslighting Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott.

Gerald Butts comes off as a minion butler given marching orders, and he marches like a trooper.

Nothing inappropriate happened! Guess again.

Jody Wilson-Raybould would connect her demotion with SNC-Lavalin! Yes, because one spawned the other. Do not play innocent, Mr Butts. Cause and effect.

You hound her repeatedly, trying to get her to change her answer. You do not understand conviction or morals.

Because when SNC-Lavalin demanded the laws be changed to their favour, your regime fellated them to their exacting specifications.

That is a typical politician. Corrupt. You couldn’t push them around; so you pushed her around, not imagining she would push back.

And this is the same Gerald Butts who worked as Dalton McGuinty’s political butler — the premier who blew hundreds of millions of taxpayers’ dollars in the Power Plant Scandal in order to save two political seats in an election.

But now the federal Liberals are doing something very vile and misogynistic: they are gaslighting both Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott.

Well, you know how it is: these women don’t have political experience, that’s why they resigned…

Yeah, because they have morals and you don’t.

These games are business as usual, and of course the regime doesn’t know what the fuss is about.

There was nothing in Raybould’s tenure that warranted her demotion. You cannot play games and pretend it had nothing to do with your hounding her, and then replacing her with a more obedient minion.

Especially after your regime passed a law through an omnibus bill that allowed for a loophole for a corrupt corporation to get away with breaking the law without consequence.

Your mother may buy your bullshit stories, but I don’t.

And no, Globe and Mail, Gerald Butts did not take down Wilson-Raybould. His subtext was pure misogyny, and he actually offered no refuting testimony, only spin.

Remember, Wilson-Raybould has more information to give.

Gaslighting your betters is a poor strategy, and proves that we have no feminist Prime Minister up in Ottawa…

Attacking the Dead: How to separate children from their roots in an Age of Propaganda.

New York magazine has a bullshit piece about champagne socialism — the fake trend that culturally, historically, and politically ignorant wannabes are babbling about now that they are too old and used up to be rich and famous and want someone to support their worthless butts because mommy and daddy never had the courage to tell them that they are average and have to work hard to earn things.

Self-sufficiency please.

And it is not as big of trend and the press pretends it is.

But people with money love to manipulate the little people.

Truly, it is like shooting fish in a barrel. Middle class young adults are gullible and conniving — the perfect patsies.

And the Left keep playing them for fools.

The Left never understood math, and with no math, no foundation in logic. They gravitate toward narratives, meaning they gravitate toward propaganda.

So with no understand of numbers, means no understanding of neither finance or measurement. They have missed a critical step in Piaget’s hierarchy of cognitive development.

So you do have the structural solidity to understand quantity. How much can you afford? How much can a government afford? How much debt can you afford? How much debt can your country afford?

This is the exact point where the Left and Right have their chasm. The Right lack a certain piece of emotional intelligence, but the Left as a collective don’t have the logic. There are two black holes — one on the Left and one on the Right — that prevent unity and consensus, but let’s focus on the Left’s black hole this time. I will leave the Right one for another entry.

So when you have a collective with no logic, but a predilection for propaganda not understand that there is no bottomless well of monies to spend on everyone without anyone putting any effort, they want to be proven Forever Right. The problem is that they are hopelessly wrong.

There is no fairy godmother, Prince Charming, or magic beans. You have to work hard actively, and be a realist.

And you have to know the past. That is your reference.

Someone wants the United States to be weakened. That much is plain. They want it weak enough in order to find a pool of minions to exploit and distract so they don’t get challenged. This isn’t personal; this is strictly a lazy form of pragmatism. You cannot actually compete directly because until now you keep getting your ass whumped: so divide and conquer.

War is deception, after all. Psyche out your rivals.

As someone who has had inferior rivals try to psyche me out since I was a kid, I know the drill. Plant seeds of discontent in united groups in order to divide them and have them so busy with their petty and vindictive bullshit garbage fights to see someone is reaping the benefits of the propaganda campaign.

It is a sucker circus.

But instead of the news media asking, How did this fake trend come from, they are hyping it up, meaning they are, as usual, cribbing from PR firm press releases. Let’s stop WikiLeaks from sounding any alarms by discrediting them, and let’s try to manipulate the gullible youth.

But for the gambit to work, we need to create another divide that goes beyond Left and Right: young and old. Propaganda works devastatingly well at isolating and alienating youth from the support of their families, particularly their parents.

And we are seeing it now with this sudden interest in demonizing the icons of previous generations, such as John Wayne and Michael Jackson.

Were these men flawed? Yes, and so are you, princess. I have yet to hear someone not say something stupid and offensive. If we were to punish people on the basis of their insensitivity, then let’s just throw a nuclear bomb on this planet and get it over with once already.

Except that would be a dumbass thing to do.

Tolerance is critical to social evolution, and that means putting up with other people’s bullshit just as they put up with yours. Each generation improves, but that doesn’t mean you have no respect for your ancestors because they had less refinement than you do now, because you will seem as vulgar and barbaric to the next generation as the last generation seems to you.

You wouldn’t be as high up the ladder as you are unless the previous generation didn’t pave a path for you in the first place.

But disrespect is the hallmark of the current ideological mindset. People behave like entitled divas, snapping their fingers and expecting everyone else to do the heavy lifting as they bark orders, and burn through the hired help for not jumping high enough on cue.

Fuck you.

For all the whining about the previous icons, what have the complainers done in comparison?

Not much, if anything. Kvetching on Twitter isn’t doing anything at all.

“Socialism” is a passing fancy because when you have a disrespectful generation, you also have an ungrateful one: it will never be enough. They have gotten into the habit of always finding fault and expecting other people to do their work and live their lives for them.

It is time to change the programming once and for all.

What we have is a me-centred mindset in an Age of Propaganda.

And it is not just on youth. The adults who should have been the guides didn’t understand the nuances of connection, nor did they explain that humans are flawed by nature. It is not an excuse to not do your best, but you still have to stop pretend you are without flaw or have no social burdens to carry. We all do.

But an Age of Propaganda keeps people living in the Now with no sense of connect to the Past, nor consideration how their panic will impact the Future.

When you attack the dead, you are so planting seeds of destruction for those yet to arrive, and none of us have the right to do that…

The Bandwagon's in town. Get on, get off, it doesn't matter. The prime minister lost his goodwill from those who created him.

III

Once upon a time Maclean’s openly pushed Justin Trudeau to become Prime Minister.

My, my how times have changed.

The Prime Minister, contrary to the columns, didn’t change. He is what he is, and what he has always been.

It is the press coverage that has made a radical shift. They all got on the same bandwagon after falling off the turnip truck and now are out for blood as they throw their once lovey-boy under a bus.

They deified this very unremarkable man who, if it weren’t for nepotism, wouldn’t be allowed to operate a sock puppet from behind a piece of cardboard. And now they are vilifying the same unremarkable man. He had no business being in politics, but had delusions enabled.

And then thought he was invincible and that the press would always drool all over him because they always did until now. The howling from the press is precious. They reinforced his every bad habit, and now are punishing for learning the rote script.

He lost goodwill and now is getting kicked from all sides. I am sure he has no idea what truck hit him.

It is the reason I never understood why anyone would bother running for politics. No matter what you give, it is never good enough, and people expect you to be their ATM machine and Santa Claus to solve all of their problems for them.

I remember reading the Rod Stewart was a cheap date, always showing the contents of his wallets complaining he didn’t bring enough money to buy any expensive meal. I think that’s the best kind of world leader. Just whip out the wallet, look inside, and warn everyone that’s money for the entire country for the year, so sorry, no graft for you.

And stick a huge red maple leaf on it to look official. Show it to SNC-Lavalin first. Sorry, assholes, put it on your list and maybe the real Santa Claus will get it for you for Christmas.

Or maybe not. There is something called reality. The end.

Trudeau was enabled the way everyone else has been: sold a bill a goods by those who have no intention of keeping promises and will turn on you in a heartbeat.

Had Trudeau been smacked around by the press earlier in his political career, he would not be in his quagmire now.

So let that be a lesson: when some group praise you and beg you to run for office, run the other way as fast as your legs can carry you….

The Political Movement Scams in an Age of Propaganda.

The pseudo-rise of socialism in the US is a scam.

We can have polls to show it isn’t much of a movement, but the numbers are even lower than that.

Socialism is the same mafia under a different label. Do not be naive.

Think about it: how did it start? In a sea of social media users drowned out by billions of cat pictures, why did that get any attention?

Simple, because you have pr forms and political operatives who pushed it, and paid for attention, and someone has to have millions of dollars to burn for it. There is no other way.

Why would conservatism be shadow-banned by social media — accounting for a princely chunk of its revenue stream — but not socialism that goes against their business model?

These games are nothing new, just updated versions that only the culturally and historically illiterate do not see.

When Communism came into the now former Yugoslavia, the people who were rich before Communism stayed rich. The people who were poor before Communism stayed poor. Only university-educated public servants lost out — the Middle Class. People in power play the system because that is their strength, and no matter what is the label, they know how to manipulate it and rig it to their advantage. They change the mask and the script’s content, but the structure stays the same.

For the Middle Class never had to struggle before then and became too soft. They took the rigged system for granted as their parents pushed them into jobs through who they knew. Once the old system became tainted, they lost out the most.

But the rich grew richer.

My grandfather was a case in point of someone who was wealthy before and after Communism.

He ran a blackmarket. He could get you anything. During the Communist regime, he had his own private zoo with a monkey. He had a circus camped out on his front lawn. He had a fleet of boats. He used the Danube during the war to transport goods from multiple countries.

Right after the First World War, when he came to Belgrade, he was homeless, literally living under a bridge. It didn’t take him long to make his obscene wealth. He went hunting with royalty, getting a jewel-encrusted rifle from Serbian Prince George.

During the War, his business boomed.

But it flourished under Communism.

The government gave him his labour for his fishing business — soldiers (in a time where every male of a certain age had to serve) and prisoners. All he had to do was feed them and supply water to the army, which cost him nothing as it was on his property. The fish they ate was the ones they caught. No worker’s rights. He had a captive workforce and didn’t have to share his profits from his legitimate business — or his underground one.

He lived like a king, partying in nightclubs, buying rounds for the entire bar. He had no trouble bribing officials to get his way — and they were highly bribable.

Workers of the world unite? Yeah, on granddad’s property to work like a horse for fish.

So here is a system that pretended to be equitable, but wasn’t equitable. The rich stayed rich. The poor stayed poor. The Middle Class couldn’t find stable work and had to live with their parents. The only people whose lives change are those who have university degrees who had public sector jobs who are now “tainted” with the “wrong kind” of education, and must be discarded for those who will work for less with less benefits, but have the “correct” indoctrinated mindset.

So when I hear about people spewing about socialism, I know there is serious money behind it. It is the perfect misdirection. Get youth alienated from their more experienced parents, tell them lies how they are “owed”, and have a face-saving way of getting that champagne socialist lifestyle so people don’t know they are “failed” social media stars and don’t have to work.

Tearing generations apart in order for one rich tycoon to have fresh, young, and gullible minions and workers toil at his whim is as old as the human race.

It would be nice is one generation broke the trend, started asking critical and skeptical questions as they were political atheists, learn from the past, and then forge new paths without being disrespectful to the old.

But vanity, envy, and greed gets in the way, and then someone offers another face-saving out — pretending there is a moral reason when there is none. It is the same old tricks that can be played on those raised in a patriarchal mindset where there can only be The One — but it is a lie to tell the masses whose fears blind them to happier places by looking within before embracing the world around them…

Why Helicopter Journalism was always a bad idea: The Case of Justin Trudeau.

Helicopter parents create conniving and manipulative children who confuse special with special needs, and sheltered environments with personal cunning.

So too does helicopter journalists. Shielding newsmakers by ignoring the warning signs is a guarantee that they will go on to do some very bad things, thinking they are geniuses.

Now that the international press has discovered that Justin Trudeau is scuzzy, it is time to take a step back to assess how it came this far.

He reminds a lot of a certain breed of spoiled brat that I have had the misfortune of intermingling over the years. They think a smile, and a “yes, sir” “no, ma’am”, and the occasional sucking up will hide what they are really thinking and feeling.

You can feel the vibrations of disdain from them. You know, for example, the phrases “sunny ways” and “rule of law” are used facetiously in public by this regime. Some veteran politician warned the Grits Frat Club about the “rule of law”, and then it became an inside joke, the same way “sunny ways” has a secret and contemptuous meaning to its utterer.

The breed has three acts in life. The first is by having busy parents who have deep respect from outsiders. The parents do not have time to call their brats on the carpet for lying to them or trying to pull fast ones. They know about the pot smoking and the vandalism, let alone the fibbing and dumb ass excuses, but as they have responsibilities that cannot be ignored, a brat’s amateur con jobs seem trivial by comparison and let it go. What happens is the child mistakes this positive reinforcement as proof they are cunning — and more so than the parent who is thought to be brilliant by others.

The second phase comes during the teenage years and early adulthood when the same breed have their parents’ name, money, connections, and their own jeunesse to shield them from consequences. Golddiggers swoon over them and will take a lot of abuse in order to get a piece of that family dynasty. The brat can mistake their jeunesse and nepotistic advantage as further proof of their brilliance. They gain an entourage of hangers’ on to exploit them, always appeasing their whims. They get away with bigger things because the folks clean up the messes, and the leeches know putting up with guff is the price of doing business.

If this breed choose a public life, the press will continuing the indulgence. This is a luxury brand name, after all, and there will be fawning coverage, and all of the dirty and dark secrets hidden from the public. Journalists are reduced to maids and butlers, serving the interest of someone they should be actively exposing at every turn.

This is a recipe for scandal. What we have is a person who vastly overestimates his or her own cunning. They take obscene gambles because they honestly think their duplicitous mindset will save the day.

The parents aren’t around anymore to bail them out. The name loses cache, the hangers’ on have dirt and when they see their conniving ways aren’t bringing them what they want, they bail, but not before sabotaging things in their wake. The jeunesse mistaken for good looks vanishes. Other, younger brats want to be crowned royalty and have fresher minions with a modern mindset to take down the old guard.

The third act usually has the reigning champ try to use the pity card to retain whatever is left of the tin foil empire. If the brat is in Hollywood, it works like a charm. There is no competition or fight for power.

When all the past sins start coming out, the brand is never the same.

We go through this cycle repeatedly because journalists shield the fresh meat. The excuse that this is so-and-so’s kid justifies the coverage to them.

Journalists hang around the corridors, they know who is doing what, when, and where. The SNC-Lavalin scandal didn’t happen in a day. This was years in the making — so why are we hearing about it just now?

If we had a diligence press, SNC-Lavalin would have never gotten to rewrite the law. They would have been cut off at the pass, and the prime minister would have had his ears boxed for it.

And if he tried to invoke the old “I am better than Stephen Harper” gambit, the press would have corrected him out in public the first time he tired it.

No, you’re not. There is no pecking order.

What I find hilarious is that Donald Trump — who has been scrutinized since Day One, and Trudeau — who has gotten a free ride until now — are both in the dog house, with the US media conceding that our guy is way ickier than their guy.

And they really hate their guy!

The Locks of Medusa: Canadian politics keeps getting more interesting all the time.

Canada has been getting whumped in a global game of Go for a very long time. We caught the attention of and offended players more cunning and powerful than Justin Trudeau, that’s plain enough. He is conniving, but not cunning. He thinks he’s cunning, but he has gotten away with what he has because there was always a secret playpen to keep him in. Someone has decided to kick away the gates, and that is very troubling.

For the record, I don’t believe that he bought SNC-Lavalin’s “bluff” that they would leave the country. Artful people don’t worry about bluffs; they just look to see what’s in it for them. For instance, you can give away generous party favours, and you can call the shots and call in your own favours when you are in a scrape or in need of a paper crown and pay check if old gig is taken away from you on election day.

Jody Wilson-Raybould’s testimony was crushing, but the Grits were prepared for it beforehand, and with Gerald Butts testifying, he will, like Clerk of the Privy Council Michael Wernick, spin the optics, and may drop a little grenade or two. This will backfire on the Grits, but not the way most people would think.

Wilson-Raybould has more, and as I said, most likely something radioactive, but that isn’t likely to cause the government to fall, but it is a mistake to think that this all has to do with her travails with the Prime Minister. If you have a government enslaved and fellating one crooked company, they are doing other things, too. Not that the company didn’t make diva demands, but players don’t just resort to a single ruse.

And someone has been keeping careful notes.

SNC-Lavalin won’t likely survive, and it will cost Quebec plenty, but over the course of the last couple of years, more and more things about the Trudeau Grits have been coming out, and they are getting progressively worse. The SNC-Lavalin scandal is small potatoes. This is a boxing match. You don’t knock down an opponent with a single punch. You hit them when their guard is down, and you begin to do that by first psyching them out, and then probing their weaknesses, and then successively hitting them from all sides and when they try to defend one weak area, they cannot cover or plan to cover others, and that is where you hit them.

As of now, Trudeau, once seen as “charming” (lord only knows why; he always reminded me of a lounge lizard), has had that façade knocked away from him, and now is seen as sleazy.

And this new narrative of him has gotten traction on a global scale. One Globe and Mail column made reference to this tweet:

Screen Shot 2019-02-28 at 10.26.30 PM.png

When in the history of Canada would that assessment crossed anyone’s mind?

While Wilson-Raybould testified that she doesn’t believe what transpired was illegal, no one is to say that something that is illegal won’t crop up within a couple of months — most likely right before the election kicks off.

Is this still a game of Go? Yes, but the stones have turned to snakes, surrounding the player with a tangle of locks. This entanglement is not something a conniving person can pull away from.

Wernick tried to propagandize the outcome by fear-mongering about potential “assassination” — and I have no doubt there will be more threats from the Grits, as well as dismissive insults. Once upon a time that would have worked like a charm. Not now. And no, Toronto Star, both Wernick and Wilson-Raybould cannot both be right. The fact that Wernick tried to shut down debate trying to equate honesty with violence tells you all you need to know.

Whatever the Grits throw, someone else will let loose another strategic lock. SNC-Lavalin is a global company — and all it will take is one country to decide that it broke the law, and then blame the Grits for it, but there can be other unrelated skullduggery waiting to be unleashed on cue.

This game is far from over. We can easily find this country torn apart with both Quebec and Alberta deciding they may just want to strike it on their own. It wouldn’t be the first time in history, it most likely won’t be the last, but this is a regime that has connived and bungled things from Day One, and will leave very hard feelings and a truckload of crises in their wake.

But it is interesting to watch the sucker circus all the same…
