Memo to the New York Times: Journalism is already dead, but do not blame the "economic model" when your problems go right into the heart of your newsrooms.

Capture.PNG

Memo to the New York Times, that ship has sailed. Your profession rots in the ground.

There hasn’t been any journalism for a very long time. Do not blame the “economic model.” You no longer have the monopoly on communications. People prefer their own posturing and opinions than the PR firms’ scripts you all parrot.

Journalism never got empirical, and those in the business are too dense to see where they have faltered. Once upon a time, it was just philosophy until you had thinkers conduct experiments to test that philosophy.

And then psychology was born.

You would think that journalism would naturally grow in the right direction. No dice. I had a lippy editor patronize and mansplain to me how this was not possible — without any expertise, knowledge on the matter, or shred of proof.

I have over a quarter century of proof that it can be done. I conducted experiments. I studied and researched the profession inside and out. I tested my model. It is much easier to do than the clunky old ways. I tweaked and made it possible to be a portable laboratory.

If you can have entire newsroom on the smartphone, you can be a walking laboratory. I had a very lively discussion with someone about this recently, and it is funny how people outside the profession not only see the possibilities, they have suggestions and offer other proof how information becomes corrupted and tainted.

When I suggest an alternative to journalism, people first become shocked, but then excited. It requires a very special kind of training, but the old guard do not want an alternative to make them look even worse.

The reason we have no journalism is simple: journalists and their overlords are actively preventing it from happening.

But I can take them…

A stupid stratagey, if true.

The Hill Times has an oblivious article about how the federal Liberals in Canada are dealing with the bricks in their plants.

They have a story to tell the people? Give me a break. Every blowhard bores the world with a “story.”

The Grits are patriarchal. They rode on the coattails of a dead Pierre Trudeau by proxy. His selfish and egotistical son is no Pierre and he hogged the limelight with his boring selfies. He has too many no-name rookies who never gained narrative traction, and the three who did: Freeland, Moreau, and McKenna, did not do a good job. Wilson-Raybould and Philpott did and they were kicked to the curb.

Oh gee, what kind of dumbass story do you have there?

The Grits do not get that it is too late. They have disposable rookies who are expendable and have no story to tell. They have the Jive Turkey, no one else, and turned out to be a mean and incompetent downer in this narrative. Freeland comes off as his long-suffering minion. No pop, no story worth telling. Heaven help us all.

The story is what people take drugs to escape from. A dysfunction house of cards. The more the Grits try to spin this as victories, the more people will see it is the kind of bullshit they puke on their Facebook pages so other middle class people do not feel superior and pity them.

Trudeau was perceived as being charmed and lucky. His nepotism brought in a truckload of assumptions and he turned out to be even more bumbling than the average Joe. If he is that bad, then people do not want to give him a free pass because they are not going to give another chance to someone who is just like them.

While it is too soon to call an election, I seriously doubt we will see the Grits win this one. They are just too gross. They need a serious overhaul and if they keep insist on having “stories”, they need someone who can follow a script in public and not go parading in culturally offensive garb out in the global stage as he abuses his cabinet ministers when they try to do the legal and right thing…

How Journalistic OCD helped the Anti-Abortionists: All Trump, all the time was the perfect misdirection.

When the 2016 US presidential race was in full-swing, a lot of people on the Left lost their goodwill with me with their arrogant and patronizing tone they took with me. I repeatedly said Trump would win because Hillary Clinton did not understand the nuances of political battle. She thought she was smarter than Bill Clinton who does have the gut instinct for it, and she was dead wrong. Her hubris cost her an easy victory.

Just to make clear how important instinct is, let’s review her advantages: all but two newspapers endorsed her. The press was overwhelmingly on her side. She had political experience, hijacked the DNC, had name recognition, had a husband win two presidential races, had scads of money, and had the endorsement of the previous president how made her Secretary of State.

And she blew it.

This is gross incompetency. Neither one of her pathetic excuses are legitimate. Do not blame the head of the FBI, James Comey. You are not going to inherit perfect employees if you are president.

Do not blame the Russians. Your job as president is to outwit almost 200 meddling nations as your day job.

There was no way in Hell Clinton was going to win, given all of her advantages. You cannot prop up a turkey.

Trump has gut instinct. She doesn’t. There is no contest. The end.

And it was obvious. The press, who are just as oblivious as Clinton, saw the advantages, but did not have the gut instinct themselves to see how worthless those “advantages” are. They were too stupid to see their own collapse. Trump saw their collapse, and took to Twitter to win, bypassing them completely — and make no mistake — he used the press for decades and if he wanted to do it again, he could have.

He chose not to expend unnecessary energy.

If journalists had a shred of competency, his win should have triggered a major internal overhaul and awakening of all of the things they were doing wrong.

Instead, they developed a collective case of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, ignored 7.5 billion people on this planet and strictly focussed on dissing Trump. They are still losing money and audiences. They have not risen from the ashes; so obviously that is a loser strategy.

But for women on the Left, they became equally stupid — and there is no other word to describe it. Stupid. S-T-U-P-I-D.

They all, like mindless geese, obsessed over Trump, turning their Facebook feeds into one ling rambling anti-Trump grumpfest. Society isn’t your kids or spouse where nagging and shaming will work. Your oppressors have no respect for your opinions, you do not have a good aura or vibes, and no, things do not magically work out for the best at the end. You have to fight a real fight with a real strategy for that to happen.

The whining accomplishes nothing because women’s fortunes never resided in federal policies so much as they do on state policies and law.

When Trump won, I repeatedly point this out to people on the Left, particularly women: two thirds of state governors are on the RIght. This is where the real problem is going to be for you. Forget Trump, he is not your enemy. The press are mad at him for proving the truth about their reality, and you have no horse in that race.

I was insulted, and rudely so. Repeatedly. I didn’t know what I was talking about, with a few hints that my Slavic inferiority was no match for their Western European superiority, and maybe I was some sort of Russian agent trying to trick them. Stop smoking pot, you paranoid trolls. I replied that governors in those states were going to go after abortion laws, and those were the races that should have mattered most to women in 2016 because states have a greater impact on daily life than federal policies. Know your levels of government and stop being a follower.

Now we have Leftist conniptions because states are all going at once full-force on abortion rights. It is coordinated, and it got this far for the simple reason while dumb fucks were kvetching about Trump, political operatives on the Right — who are far more politically-savvy than the pseudo-sophisticated and university educated Middle Class lefties — remembered their high school Civics lessons and went after states, not the federal regime.

This fuckery would have never seen the light of day if women on the Left had a clue about their governments. I am a Canadian, and I know it well.

But Western thinking is very rigid and rote. Instinct is beaten out of women at an early age with Disney Princesses and fairy tales. It is about gawking at Kardashians and Real Housewives, and not knowing about women who fight a thousand wars everyday just so that every other woman can fulfill her dreams and live the happiest life in the world.

To all those women who fight those battles, thank you.

To all those women who drool and watch Real Housewives as you corrupt your daughters on Disney shit, fuck you, you destructive asshole.

And to all those women who were sleepwalking for the last two years: wake up, fairy princess, thanks to your hamster wheel running, you let the oppressors score some major victories. That’s on you.

Don’t follow the press. They fucked up their own profession. Be teachable. Be humble. Be proactive. Listen to advice.

And stop being like a parrot, mimicking what other people with vested interests tell you to say. No one can afford to be a follower anymore…

Hamilton City Hall's whining about "efficiencies." Please someone introduce them to reality.

This pissing contest between the brats at Hamilton City Hall and the Ford regime is one for the books. The only representative the city has in the government is Donna Skelly, someone the mayor has publicly dissed and treated patronizingly before she became an MPP.

Skelly is telling the city that they can trim their fat. She is absolutely correct. You see the nepotistic hires twirling their eyes in the bullshit jobs. Skelly had a short stint as a councillor in City Hall — and she would know.

Hamilton always shoots itself in the foot: they stick by the NDP no matter how they aren’t getting anywhere by it. When the city was a Liberal stronghold, its fortunes were far better. This last election showed that doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome truly was bonkers.

And now the expectant temper tantrums. The city lost Basic Income by voting NDP, and then having to bend to Conservative overlords. The city owes Kathleen Wynne an apology.

They also owe one to Skelly. She is the lone voice — and they keep spitting in her face. The mayor should do whatever it takes to make nice with her because things are about to get a lot worse for the city. The US tariffs may be lifted, but companies have had a chance to go elsewhere for their steel, and the delay was long enough to show that there are plenty of alternatives. There is nothing to cheer about here.

But while Hamilton whines how they have no fat to cut, they find all sorts of money to waste.

Screen Shot 2019-05-18 at 2.25.16 PM.png

Those utility boxes do not need to be beautified. There is a perfect example of waste, just as the city spend money in a stupid no-starter bod to woo Amazon to the city, as if.

A forensic accountant looking over the city’s books would be a great way to test the city’s theory. It is long overdue, but with its uppity attitude when it has no cards to play, shows just how clueless the overlords in town really are…

New York Times spews garbage and is not the feminist paper of record: How journalism failed women and still do in 2019.

The New York Times is pure garbage, and this bullshit article can be classified under Too Little, Too Late, Assholes.

Why do we have psychopaths get elected? We absolutely know these hypocrites lie to the public, have affairs, take bribes, and do all of the things that they proclaim they find morally reprehensible.

I know this because I worked as a journalist and hung around the halls of various public offices and saw the floozies get passed around various politicians who then gave them patronage appointments — and journalists saw this up close every day and said nothing.

Journalists also play those games as the Times’s own Ali Watkins did…and faced no consequences for it.

So to all of you women who are upset about the oppressive and illegal anti-abortion laws, here is the memo:

Journalists could have exposed these con artists before they ever got elected. They could have told you about their mistresses, lies, hypocrisy, and every other immoral, illegal, and shady thing they do out in the open. They could snap pictures of their drug use, casting couch antics, and everything else, but they keep quiet.

In other words, it is the sin of omission.

So let us not pretend the press is a friend to women. It never was, and it never will be.

They could also expose the lies and cons of far Right activists by exposing their affairs and how they snag their man by getting knocked up before marriage. They could expose these charlatans with ease.

So if you want to know how to break the iron grip of a lunatic fringe, start by demanding that newspapers such as the Times reveal all the dirty little secrets they are keeping from the public.

It will sicken you. It will shock and appal you — but by now, it should never surprise you…

Why feminism keeps getting it wrong: Stop putting all your eggs in one political basket.

Republican State Sen. Kim LaSata is channelling Dr. Josef Mengele. The worthless motherfucker had this to say about abortion:

“Of course it should be hard!” the senator from St. Joseph exclaimed. “And the procedure should be painful! And you should allow God to take over!! And you should deliver that baby!”

That’s not godly, you worthless cocksucker. That is devil-worshipping. That is how psychopaths think. They always find a way to blame victims for torturing them. Why is this bimbo bitch allowed to be in power in the first place? If this shit is such a good Christian, then please, LaSata, tell me where in the bible does it say to do this to women? You’re the kind Jesus stood up to, not for. Fuck you. You are weak and trying to prey upon the strong.

I am certain Hell is making a special padded room just for her when it is her time for eternal damnation, but for the rest of us moral and sane women who cherish our freedoms from torture-lovers and other scum, why aren’t women free in 2019?

Where did feminism go wrong?

For starters, it’s allowing this kind of propaganda to corrupt our thinking.

5c005baba182300f0b2c4ed2-750-563.jpg

What the fuck are you trying to prove? That you are helpless and weak? Don’t listen to Margaret Atwood. She’s an oblivious tool.

So, uh, no.

Wrong mindset.

Try this instead.

viking-woman-warrior.jpg

And then this.

856d1ae005c44466d7defbb7bc6f4754.jpg

Feminism has two major problems now.

The first, it doesn’t go for the jugular. It is always reactive and always defensive.

Try the Chicago Way.

But instead of sending people to morgues, you should be sending bad policies and ideas to the morgue.

Such as anti-abortion.

If you do not believe in abortion, then don’t have one. Your right ends where my body begins.

Feminists have to learn to send misogynistic concepts to the morgue.

One way is to start pushing to have men’s reproductive rights on the table — and as anti-abortion laws are illegal because they target sex, which is against the law, start making legal arguments that if women are confined, then men must be confined as well.

If anti-abortionists realize the grave they are burying feminists in will be their final resting place for their own freedom, power, and control, they will not know where to turn.

If they insist on being devil-worshippers, they made a deal with the devil and it is high-time they start paying up. They alllow incest, rape, and child molestation to go unpunished; ergo they have no moral compass and cannot be trusted.

That breaks down one fortress. That’s the eye of the storm — and it allows feminism to start fighting — and then learning the methods of their oppressors. Stop fighting to prevent losses and start fighting to win.

Take spoils and then learn.

But that’s just half a battle.

The second one is more important.

Feminists stick with Left-wing parties which is an incredibly stupid method.

Realistically, there is no fucking in way in Hell that you are going to have one party rule forever. Sooner or later, they fuck up and the other side will take over.

Are you going to have to lose sleep after every election? What’s wrong with you?

Rich white men never have to worry: they always give the same amount of money to both parties, and no matter what, the regime will jive with their intentions.

Feminists have to start going after Right-wing parties — and breaking into those parties and keep doing it until their rights and freedoms are always off the table.

When you storm and flood, dumb fucks like LaSata cannot function: she just memorizes a little rule and thinks she is a cunning strategist who has a fortress where she cannot be challenged. Wipe the floor with her — not just through a Democratic ticket — but also a Republican one.

And should the sexists form a new party — do the same thing.

Instead of moping and being useless in red cosplay, start becoming a living nightmare to oppressors.

Break their rigs. Do not validate their structures of thought.

Suffragists broke into politics by fighting for the right to vote.

You prevent regression if you fight to break into sexist parties and make them bend to your demands.

May every single party be civilized and not try to gain and elevate themselves by oppressing and stomping on others. Fuck that shit. Enough is enough.

If you do not believe in abortion, don’t have an abortion. The end. That’s your sanctioned insanity.

But you do not have the right to tell other adults what to do with their bodies. That’s plain evil.

So don’t morally masturbate and pretend you believe in a god if your ideas involve inflicting pain and torture like a Nazi because no one is buying your toxic garbage…

GateHouse Media acquires New Jersey Herald...

We are seeing the kind of media concentration in the US that Canada has pretty much always had.

While Gannett and Digital First are duking it out, neither are heroes in this narrative. People still don’t realize that in having no true independent media, we have no real information, meaning bad things are getting more corrupt and emboldened.

I have a lot more to say about those consequences, and will sometime today…

Federal government media fund will stop innovation in its tracks? Darling, Canadian journalism never had it.

That the Canadian federal media slush fund is a bad idea is an understatement. It’s immoral and allowing a government to interfere with the press is the manipulative.

But when you have an industry that is arrogant, ignorant, and mentally lazy, they are going to seek it. Actively. They want the paper crown and the delusion that they have power and control. It will be parasitic — to take a concept from Thomas Sowell — and so long as they can keep up the pretence, they misuse the conception of journalism to justify their con games.

So to read this editorial is a real knee-slapper. What do you mean the fund will stifle innovation? Canadian journalism shuns innovation because they are not there to inform — but perform. It is a sham. Journalism lives in a fantasy world where they fancy themselves as movie characters who are valiant knights — people in power will every once in a while leak things to them — but they never uncover things by themselves.

So the industry was never created to innovate — you need an alternative to it in order for any real change to happen…

Globe and Mail's propaganda about the Ontario Premier's propaganda: It's all propaganda, all of the time.

The Globe and Mail is babbling propaganda against the Ontario Premier’s propaganda.

Ontario News Now would never have been a thing if journalism in Ontario had an ounce of competency.

When you look down on people and craft narratives to make your side seem superior, you will alienate those people who will look elsewhere.

And the Globe is not one to talk. People don’t refer to it as the Toronto Globe and Mail for no reason: it serves as Toronto-centric propaganda as the rest of the country are seen as lesser beings.

But the Ford Brothers had their own radio program on Newstalk 1010. They were given unfettered access to mainstream news outlets. When politicians are given those kind of platforms, don’t be surprised when they cut their teeth and then bypass the system the way millions of other people did with social media.

And people are not going to see any problem with it because this is the Age of Propaganda.

When you have news outlets blur lines, they shouldn’t get huffy when people they enabled take full advantage of it.

They sized up the sham of the press, and then build their own in the bargain…

An interesting article about Canadian law in Showbiz411

This article is definitely worth a read. Roger Friedman has this to say about it:

These proceedings suggest a level of dishonesty in the Canadian judicial system that resembles a third world country. This proceeding has been marked by judges bending the law to suit their own purposes, judges obstructing justice, prosecutorial misconduct, and corrupt police destroying evidence. It reads like a real world “The Firm” by John Grisham.

That hits the nail on the head.

Friedman also seems surprised that our braindead journalists have missed it:

Right now, I’m not identifying the case, which has gone on for some time under the noses of the Canadian press. It’s actually outrageous.

This kind of rigging goes on everyday in Canada, and everyday, journalists ignore the rot as no one else is willing to call it out and make changes. Worse, you have trolls extolling the fake virtues of a dysfunctional and rigged legal system. Canada the Myth is not Canada the Reality. You have people like me who try to build things of substance, but when everything is just window-dressing, no one wants the substance to draw attention to the window-dressing.

As I said, this article is worth taking the time to read and process. People like me will ponder it, but I doubt most other people will do anything else but dismiss it and go back to sticking their heads up their asses…

Memo to Vox: You lack basic knowledge to try to explain things to people.

Vox is pure garbage, and this article is just another piece of trash for the rubbish pile.

Screen Shot 2019-05-15 at 2.10.58 PM.png

Vox isn’t an actual news outlet: it babbles about the Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones as if they were newsworthy and significant.

Vox doesn’t get reality, particularly the US trade war against China. It cannot explain something obvious because it has no clue and no means to do so.

There is nothing loopy about the US going after China. China has been busy buying up natural resources around the world. It is the World’s Factory. It buys other nations’ debt. It is aiming for an economic monopoly, and has been doing so unchecked for a very long time.

The US is preventing that dominance, and is working on weakening China, which isn’t as hard as it sounds. The US gets the rigs of capitalism. China gets a lot of things, but not enough to beat the US at this game. They may bluster, but they are in a far weaker position than they should be. The US can make serious damage to them economically and politically. Trump doesn’t think like a typical American, making him a very hard mark to read.

And he is willing to fight as far as it can go. Canada is going to get royally screwed. This is a country that banked on being a whisperer of sorts to the US, and a backdoor way of diplomacy with them, but then Trump accused Canada of being smooth, and cut off that path. Trump brought his North American neighbours to heel. For all of Canada’s tantrums and chest-thumping how they were going to “buy Canadian”, it was all talk because Canada doesn’t have very much native products to purchase.

Now that the small potatoes are out of the way, the big job is up ahead. In this game of Go, Trump struck first with a single arrest in Canada. China hit hard at Canada, giving Trump a blueprint into how to break them to specifications.

Project Syndicate is also puking knee-slapping Leftist propaganda, trying to pretend there is no economic growth in the US, but there is and it’s real. Unemployment is low. Everything has been methodical and precise. The US usually doesn’t have someone in the White House who gets the game, and Trump gets it. The Left are jealous and are stewing because vote-shaming doesn’t work. It’s the reason they are blind to what has been swirling over the last two years. The epic magic act is about to begin and they are off the rails thanks to their own hubris.

There is no mystery here, and certainly no madness. The game is beyond what Vox can comprehend, and it is not a place to look for actual news, anyway…

Canadian journalists begged for fascism...they are just about to get it. Be careful what you beg for, suckers.

When you have lazy trolls pretend to be journalists, they can’t actually pull it off, and like other sheltered brats, they went to Daddy Government to give them free money.

Not only will they not see much more than pennies, they opened the door to fascist regime tactics.

We are now getting an Approved Media List.

We have a regime with no empirical data or experience decreeing what will be considered approved.

This is very bad:

Federal agencies will publish an A-list of newspapers and websites deemed reliable under a multi-million dollar subsidy program, the Department of Finance yesterday told the Senate national finance committee. Subsidies to federally-approved news media invite government meddling in a free press, cautioned one senator.

This is worse:

An unnamed cabinet-appointed group will decide which media qualify for subsidies. “The government will decide whether or not to change certain criteria,” said Maude Lavoie, Finance Canada director general of business tax programs.

And this is just plain stupid:

“I’m worried here you have criteria, you’ll have to jump those; selection committees appointed by the government – we’re intruding on the freedom of the press,” said Andreychuk. “It may not be our intention; it’s the survival of newspapers. But we’re going to be creating opportunities for others to come in, and we may not be really helping those we intended to in the first place.”

…“we all want to encourage the survival of the press, whether it’s in a small town or elsewhere, but if we start down this road, with these criteria, with government setting that criteria and interpreting that criteria, I think we’re on the wrong road,” said Andreychuk.

Journalism didn’t survive: it was always an illusion. It was never empirical or serious. What we always had was an ideal, not the real thing.

We should be smart enough and brave enough to have an alternative to journalism. This version obviously has flaws too big to be functional. It was always based on a model where common people did not have access to a broad audience. When they did, all of the glaring holes and flaws in journalism stood out and people lost faith in that institution.

The federal Liberals are horrid. They are scam artists, not visionaries, innovators, or thinkers. It is not as if we have a party that actually has vision and an ability to take risks. Bribe, break, and control seems to be the only game the federal regime knows how to play, and now that they have their mitts on a dead profession, we will see just how manipulative they can be with an inert press that should have made big changes when they still had the chance…

Globe and Mail babbles about recycling...misses glaring point. Recycling is a Middle Class distraction. Just go to the commercial dump.

I

II

As our ditzy Prime Minister is desperately trying to deflect attention from his own himbosity by offering the super-rich Vatican Canadian lumber and steel that would be better used to build our destitute shelters, he also wants to play propagandist to scare the Middle Class into voting for him by declaring a “climate emergency.”

This is pure bullshit. If there was such a thing, there are many simple solutions that could have been employed, but haven’t because Canada is a lawless country that runs on the politics of fear and virtue-signalling.

But instead of exposing the manipulations, the dregs left of Canadian journalism prefer to be government mouthpieces.

Look at the babble-fest of the Globe and Mail that offer a very long and rambling bullshit story.

It is all about the problems facing recycling because China decided not to play make pretend anymore.

Recycling, for the most part, is a sham. It always has been. This is how governments play kindergarten teacher to the middle class to get them to, in essence, reenact doing something stupid while spinning it as productive as pasting macaroni on to cardboard and then calling wasting food an art lesson.

Recycling is pasting macaroni on cardboard.

While the obedient and credulous Middle Class spend hours separating garbage and then morally masturbating to their fake friends about it, businesses throw all of their trash in one big heap at the commercial dump.

I know because I have had to throw out a lot things, rented a big truck, and was told that I had to discard it at the commercial end of the dump.

And then saw the building with all the garbage just stacked in a single pile with no recycling equivalent there. I had a lot of glass that could have been easily recycled, but was told to throw all of it in that huge pile.

Think about how much garbage businesses throw out in comparison to the residential, and then tell me about recycling.

And nowhere in this incessant rambling and irrelevant fact-puking does the Globe look at the obvious. The entire article is rubbish because of their glaring confirmation bias.

It is not the only place where they seriously fuck up. Even the usually oblivious CBC gets that Canada allows too much superfluous and non-biodegradable packaging to clog up our dumps. All the government has to do is make excessive plastic and packaging illegal. If the Liberal government actually believed in the line they are feeding people, they would have already done so.

Because the environmental monster tales are just for show.

We have garbage because we don’t actually have a government that puts a stop to it.

The Globe thinks cramming charts and graphs means they are serious journalists. No, you don’t question your government on basic things, so why would you think that?

If two magicians see the obvious, then let’s let magicians inform the public — not the pretentious morons at the Globe and Mail who are too stupid to see that the federal Grits gave millions of dollars to a price-fixing grocery chain that gets free swag — and the epicentre of the kinds of environmental waste that clogs our dumps in the first place…

Toronto Star gets everything wrong...yet again.

The Toronto Star doesn’t get anything right. There is a silly little column about political pantywaist Sam Oosterhoff, and it is worth tearing apart because of its sheer ignorance to reality:

I am putting his name forward to be the first Canadian male anti-abortion politician to gestate a baby, the minute science effectively figures out how to do it. Apparently for a male to have a fertilized egg planted inside of his body and to gestate it until it’s ready for birth is life-threatening. Oh no!

This is a childish argument that completely ignores reality. Why are you pretending that men don’t have vulnerabilities when it comes to reproductive rights? They don’t need to get pregnant: they have sperm, and that’s good enough to put their own reproductive rights on the table.

Feminism keeps doing the same things and employing the same strategies, which is the reason why women’s rights are always precarious and never entrenched. You can’t keep using defensive strategies when your opponents keep using offensive ones. You have to learn to link their fortunes with yours: whatever happens to you will happen to them. You take away the rigs of barriers: they want women to lose their reproductive rights, then so do those who call for it. We take away men’s rights to choose when they can reproduce, if they can, with whom, how many times, and where.

If pregnant women are being framed as “host bodies”, frame men as “sperm gifters.” They gave away their sperm, they have no claim to it.

What you give to one, you must give to the other. You don’t make hypothetical arguments. You don’t justify yourself or allow yourself to be put on the table. You don’t fight to keep your rights — you go after the other side’s rights. Anything else is regression. This is a new war; ergo you use new strategies to ensure the other side knows that if they throw a grenade at you, you are chaining yourself to them first, meaning the explosion will hit them just as hard.

But women have this unnatural habit of justifying themselves to men and explaining and arguing. I once had a sexist male relative who kept trying to break me in for as long as I could remember. I could be dressed to the nines, and he’d say, “You have a pimple,” to which I replied, “And you have a huge glaring bald spot where hair used to be.” He lost the battle and then lost the war. You want to point out a real or perceived flaw on me, I upped the ante and struck where it hurt the most. Asshole, you don’t have the monopoly.

If it is all about reproduction, then start at the very beginning. If we are using biblical arguments about how God made man first, then his sperm is fair game. It’s God’s will and all that jazz. If women cannot be trusted, then neither can men.

When those misogynists are too busy fighting for the survival of their own rights, they have no time to meddle in other people’s rights. Feminists would be wise to throw away their old playbooks. They are obviously flawed. Bridging rights and entrenching that bridging puts the manipulators on notice that there are going to be heavy and painful consequences for their scamming — and anti-choice is a scam — it is a form of propaganda that uses fear-mongering to keep women in place so they do not succeed more than men. It creates a false pecking order and to indulge it is an admission that the pecking order is real and just.

And it is neither. Go after Oosterhoff’s reproductive rights. He is sheltered and insulated from reality and a nice big cold bucket of reality water would keep the little twerp and his ilk in their place.

The Toronto Star has no clue about reality, either. They puke 60s bullshit in a 2019 world. It’s no better and offers no solutions to how to create a real and lasting utopia…

Memo to the Wall Street Journal: There is no "miscalculation" with the US trade war with China. Learn to read the signs.

This article is a riot:

The yahoos at the WSJ never went to a magician’s show, played poker, or fought a war.

Let’s review what the president has guided over the last couple of years — a burning hot economy that has more jobs than people to fill. Profits are soaring. Everything is gangbusters for the US. Trucks are clogging up the highways and trains are humming with goods and raw materials.

That gives the president huge leeway to take a series of calculated risks. He has weakened Canada who is heavily dependent on China and the US, and he has placed Canada in a precarious and unprecedented blind without a compass or roadmap. Justin Trudeau is an international laughing stock. Chrystia Freeland has no substance. Neither has managed to do a thing. They are easy prey and no matter what conniving bullshit gambit they can think up or crib, it doesn’t do a thing. This anchors Canada right where they need to be placed on the game board.

The US economy can take some serious hits and still be in a strong position. China cannot touch this even with their meanest sanctions. They can throw their weight at Canada, emboldening them because Canada is in ill-prepared nation that honestly believes the world sees them as cute and cuddly — and sees that delusion as a strategy for survival.

The US has carefully positioned itself since 2017. The Chaos Narrative has slowly built a spider’s web using Canada as a misdirection. Canada is begging the US to bail them out. They broke. Being that dependent on Trump who screwed them over with USMCA is a deliberate piece of theatre.

And it is no coincidence that Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou was arrested in Canada on the orders of the US: that was the opening salvo and had Canada been run by competent players, they would have told Wanzhou that Canada’s weather wouldn’t be good for her phone reception. Pride and image are predictable bait and both nations ran head-first into the trap. Two birds, one stone.

The only thing China’s retaliatory tantrums are accomplishing is building suspense for the show. This is all part of the act, and reminds me a lot of how my grandad Anton gave free entertainment to my mom and grandma at no cost.

He would get them both to sit on the front porch,, ready for the live action theatre: he would tell one neighbour some made-up thing he said the other neighbour gossiped about them — and then go to the other neighbour and say the same thing to them. Hilarity ensued when the neighbours got into a serious brawl right in front my granddad’s house. Divide and conquer.

Canada has already been alienated, and with China throwing its weight at the table, they are now doing the same thing. Just as Canada has alienated China, China has alienated Canada. The more they thump their chests as payback, the less inviting they are to other potential trading partners.

In boxing, bulk gets you only so far — strategy is what separates champions from the also-rans. You have to constantly move and probe as you bob and weave: the US is doing all of those things, and China is merely reacting to the probes, giving away their thinking patterns, strengths, weaknesses, and secrets in the bargain.

Canada and China were dragged into a fight with each other so that China’s reactions and strategies could be studied and a plan of action could be constructed from it. This was the test and prototype. Toss a brick to get a jade and in this case, the brick was Canada who were duped into becoming lab rats. China obliged without stepping back for a second to think how wise it was to stomp all over a former ally. For both countries, the ramifications of their credulity will haunt them for decades, and there is no undoing the damage.

So no, there is no miscalculation. Journalists fucked up their profession because they have no understanding of vision or risk. We are in the midst of a high-stakes game with China playing right along to the script. The US will take a hit, but they can more than afford it — in fact, they absolutely must take this hit in order to win their win, and victory is much closer than it appears for them.

Democrats are all bluster — they have no vision, and don’t want people to see their obvious deficits — that’s the reason they despise Trump who thrives on big gambits. They are jealous of him.

Never underestimate the man — in this game of Go, he has won every round — and the next always comes with a bigger handicap. He is firmly in control, and while others miss the signs, they do so at their own peril…

Guns are hard to control? You don't say, CBC! Cribbing from my web site, children?

Here is a stupid article.

If you are wondering, Hey, didn’t Alexandra Kitty mention all of those points on her web site for months months ago?, you are absolutely 100% correct.

Here is just one example, almost one year ago.

I mentioned numerous times how gun control can’t stop 3D printers or underground arms manufacturing (and for added fun, my novella Chaser had just such a scenario, and when did that come out?) and it would be nice if the CBC came clean where they got their ideas…

Memo to the National Post: Movies aren't real. Stop confusing Hollywood with reality.

I

I

I have written about the nincompoopity of people in journalism romanticizing their profession by confusing movies for their industry.

The National Post has gotten into this stupid habit.

Screen Shot 2019-05-12 at 10.10.30 PM.png

No, old movies show an idealized version of journalism, not a better age of it. That propaganda was never reality.

Snap out of it, and get a grip…

The Middle Class Peasantry: Take them out and dust them off when you want to manufacture a bullshit story.

When I wrote about the business of journalism was back when, I got my education on how the power brokers lived. They weren’t nothing like the simple script-following Zero-Risk yokels in the Middle Class. They were far more like the poor: both had more of survival instinct and could read people far better than the braindead Middle Class who have some bizarre obsession with trying to make each other jealous and pretend they have money.

I likened it to the layers of a Dobos torte: a hard layer followed by a soft layer. The middle class were the soft layer who were sandwiched in-between two hard layers. The poor and the rich are too much alike, and it is the reason they despise each other, but even their differences stem from a slight alteration in their filter.

I remember one episode of Law and Order where a psychologist says the difference was that the poor still think money will make them happy, and the rich have been disabused of the delusion, but there is far more to it than just that.

The poor have but a single obstacle: their own thinking. Here is a group of people who really have nothing to lose, and when push comes to shove, you never get in a fight with someone who has nothing to lose.

The wealthy have everything to lose, but no one actually challenges them. Why? Because the middle class serve as static, and are an effective barrier. In the back of their minds, the poor can hope to reach that level — or their children. Middle class people donate to charity and volunteer at soup kitchens.

And that will keep the status quo going — so long as there is a soft layer in there.

But sometimes, the middle class, thanks to their own ignorance and arrogance, get too greedy or confident of their sparse knowledge, and then end up poor. They are in too much debt or overpaid for a house. They bought stocks and the company went belly up. Factories close and then everything else comes crashing down.

When that barrier is gone, the poorest of the poor aren’t given false hope anymore, and then they strike at a target they actually understand.

As above, so below.

They are the feral wild animals who seize power and form coups. That’s when we have revolutions, and not a moment before.

When I used to cover the superfabulously powerful media barons, I was privy to all sorts of gossip and insider dirt. I had an eidetic memory for names and would draw maps of power structures that went well beyond communications.

People always whined how bad business was. You’d think dynasties were on the edge of collapse. Business was always bad. Movie studios had creative accounting and they were always operating at a big loss.

No one was bragging, actually. Quite the opposite. Old money was always grim about their finances, and I quickly learned to spot the difference between real economic woes, and the standard poverty lamentation so they could someone not pay taxes. People kept their cards close to their chests at all times. I learned to find out things in other ways: namely, speaking to the maids, seamstresses, or nannies who had to survive on their meagre salaries, and their bosses assumed they weren’t smart enough to pick up on the signs.

They could pick it up and know what it meant.

So did I. I became like Archie Comics’ Cricket O’Dell, the girl who could smell money.

I could tell within seconds. People with money and connections had a different way about them than did Middle Class people, who are sheltered and always try to guess how rich people behave and always overplay their gambits. You hear well-heeled brats pretend they had no family connections, were dirt poor, and had to struggle to make it — never mind that mommy and daddy bribed a company to get their snot-nosed brat a plush job.

Old Money play different than New Money, but New Money often don’t last long because they brag and boast and don’t know the Shibboleths or comprehend the nuances of power. The teachable ones who see the precariousness of it all, read the memo and change their ways. The arrogant ones who think they are now permanently superior to the little people crash and burn at the first economic downturn.

The middle class have no clue about any of it. Too busy bragging how their brat won Miss Small Potatoes at the county fair. They look for scripts to crib to make it seem as if they know. They talk over people who know because they are jealous that someone has access to people who may be famous.

When I worked at Mohawk College at the same time I was a Canadian correspondent for Presstime, my boss had the nerve to say to me out loud, “So you won’t ever be famous writing for them, right?”

No, asshole: I write for people who decide who gets to be famous. That was my job, and one I create all by myself.

There is a jealousy problem with the peasantry, and it got out of control thanks to the Internet: people thought if they only had a platform, everyone would be razzle-dazzled by their innate greatness just like in the movies, and they would all be rich and famous.

When it didn’t happen, now the peasantry wants to tear down the rich because the deep layers realize the wealthy outclass them in more ways than one.

And their panic and ignorance of the ways of the rich blares.

IV

The New York Times is exploiting the middle class ignorance of the wealthy by disclosing that Trump “operated” at big losses.

Big deal. That’s a confirmation bias. Wealthy people know how to work the system. You never reveal your cards one way or another. Income taxes are for middle class people to dutifully fill out. You can’t screw around with that — unless you have big money.

But if you point this out to the middle class, they will either ignore you, or insult you with some snippy, arrogant put-down as if they were experts, not clueless people who have no exposure to that other sphere.

Why? No script and too much risk to ponder that what is seen as a static and permanent state of affairs is fleeting and can implode at any second.

I dare the New York Times to expose every single billionaire’s tax returns. Both on the left and the right. We have sheltered the middle class long enough — a little bit of perspective of reality would be a nice wake-up call to that soft layer that seems to have an opinion for everything, even if they know nothing about it.

Once upon a time, selective disclosure would rile up the little people on cue. These days, we have people who correct the confirmation bias, but we mostly get sulky and pouty people babble about “whataboutism” instead of look at the facts and question who are they cheering and booing and why — what exactly do you know about this person and why are you cheering or booing them — was it that they did something personally to you — or you just read online the script that told you to do it.

People think we should go after the rich, but I disagree: go after the middle class first — there are more of them and they are responsible for more of the rot in society than any other group. They get all the perks of being protected from both the top and bottom layer, and if we take away the scripts, we can begin to make those long overdue changes so that we don’t have the extremes of the other two in the first place…
