Big Tech's publicity stunt meddling at journalism's expense continues.

Once again, people who do not know journalism and were never schooled in it, let alone worked in the profession have decreed they are going set up a website to rate the credibility of journalists and news outlets.

Elon Musk is jumping on the bandwagon Facebook and Google have, though he has an open beef with the press. No empirical methods, just having journalists, their mommies, and some PR firms gaming that website, as if journalism was still a thing.

Big Tech players helped to dismantle that industry, and make it irrelevant. Trying to decree who to believe is not something they have experience in. They have plenty of experience playing the press to give them bunches of free advertising, but that's not the same thing.

But some people have to be meddling in everything -- including the rubble they created...
