Fear no monster

Make the proper introductions and learn to read the Cards.
Even Swords and Spades are to be challenged and exposed, not feared.
The good have nothing to fear, not even the Devil himself…

Alchemy is sacred

There is no science without spirituality.
There is no spirituality without science.
Alchemy is the marriage of the two and is a sacred study of the Intangible Realm.
The realm of Hearts…

The most functional Trinities have a Queen

But one with the absence of a Queen can still be a functional one.
However, if there is the absence of a Queen and it is not a thriving one, having a Queen in the Trinity is no guarantee the problems of the Inner Circle will vanish.
If a series of Queens refuse to enter the Inner Circle or repeatedly escape or leave, it is a sure sign of a Dark Circle.
One that is to be exposed and avoided…

Long Losts have no free pass

Their absence is telling.
When they arrive is also telling.
An Inner Circle is always expanding, but it is always focussed on the future — not the past.
The Circle is built on Intangible Truths — the tangible are irrelevant to membership.
The ploys of guilt and tangibles are misdirections.
For an Inner Circle is built on the Bottom Line.
The only one that counts — where was the Card at your darkest hour when you were the most vulnerable?
That is the test and the measure.
Words are cheap as are arguments and debate.
It is the little voice of your heart that counts.
For the heart has more wisdom than the mind…

One marries for love

To misuse matrimony is one of the gravest of sins.
Marriage is not a form of wealth-gathering, control, social climbing, immigration strategy, or chess move.
There are Marriages of Feats and Marriages of Magic — but regardless if the road to Love was smooth or rough, the marriage must be based on love.
And if the love dies, so does the marriage…

The sermon is a show

With games, jokes, magic tricks, fables, and laughter.
For it must always bring light — both happiness and wisdom.
And it must be a show — not a lecture…

There is an Inner Circle

And it is made of like-hearted souls.
Each must prove their hearts.
Membership is not a birthright.
The circle protects the Hearts and Chalices from harm, but it is not a refuge for a Dark Card to avoid being held accountable for his own dark actions.
Blood is no guarantee of membership.
No secrets, lies, games of combat, or manipulations are allowed.
For it is circle held together by love, light, and trust…

Taking in the Triumphs

Most thriving religions have their own Triumphs — the one quality that helps its believers pull through darkness.
Some preach forgiveness, paving the way for a new generation to make a fresh start.
Some preach about forging ahead, pulling its people out of a holocaust and making them stronger than before.
Some point out the tyranny of fear, making its people face death in the face and then live to tell the tale as a Heart, not a hardened Spade.
There is no ownership on any of these Triumphs.
Pulling the threads from each to weave a spiritual belief that takes the best of every faith makes a different sort of cloth.
A cloth fit for a Queen…

Appendix Twenty-One: Queenish

The Queen of Hearts is Queenish.
That is her language, nationality, currency, politics, beliefs, education, profession, law, constitution, and religion.
Queenish has no separation between spirituality or politics.
The core that guides you in one realm, guides in all other realms.
It is a consilience of ideas, values, beliefs, and actions.
There are vows and there are guiding principles.
Queens are first-class citizens.
There are things that Queens can see that neither Jacks nor Kings can.
If a Queen rejects a Card as a member of her Inner Circle for whatever reason, her wishes are respected for she rejects Dark Cards — Swords, Wands, Jokers, Spades, and Clubs.
Queens do not take kindly to patronizing attitudes nor discrimination.
Some call it feminism, though it goes much further than that.
It is a celebration of Queens and all their gifts and contributions.
It is Queenish…
Queenie is Queenish...

After stomaching some of the speeches at the Democratic convention…

It makes me realize how much a third party is really needed in the United States.
Because the Dems are so full of it with their speeches…
Queenie, who is never full of it...

A Greek temple…

Nice touch and a nod to ancient democracy — you know, the one that excluded women from the political process.

An insensitive and uintentional slight from someone known for his precision in communication?

Very telling, nonetheless…

Not happy with my web host

I am still shopping around for another one, but I got an email telling me to ask WP, which I already did and got no help. You wonder if anyone wants to bother with anything anymore…

A Heart Collector understands lost loves

But a lost love is not always a romantic one.
xoxo!
A lost dream or hope is also a great love.
Dreams and hopes are figments all on their own.
They are living and expanding beings with their own complexities.
And we can fall in love with hopes and with dreams.
And they too can be lost and become the One Who Got Away.
And we can lose a piece of our hearts in the bargain.
But the Heart Collector takes those pieces and plants each one in the garden after cleansing and healing it.
So that the hope and dream stays alive and blossoms…

A Queen of Hearts knows her castle

She knows it from the ground to the roof.
She knows every grain.
Queenie
And when a grain starts to feel weak, she tends to that grain.
For every grain counts.
Those grains bond together to form a castle, and the Queen knows each grain by name.
And it is her love that is the glue that holds the castle together.
She loves the castle whole, but also every grain.
But love is not blind — it gets to know every grain in order to love each and every one…

A harmed little raccoon was in my backyard…

It looks like he was hit by a car. I was feeding him, trying to figure out what to do — called a couple of nearby animal sanctuaries with no luck; he had a broken leg and was in a lot of pain. Finally called Animal Control, but we told them if he can be saved, we’ll foot the bill. It looks like he may have been hit by a car.

I hate it when a fuzzy kid is not well — I never had a problem with a raccoon in my life and no damage; so we’ll see if anything can be done or if he has to be put down…
